Basic Cerbo Rules
2011 Cerbo Baseball League Rules
1) PLEASE READ THESE RULES
2) Website standings reflect actual seeding. Playoffs will change according to head to head match ups
3) No Player shall play in a league that they are older then.
4) If Player is challenged his team must show acceptable proof of age to opposing team. Birth certificate and school picture.
5) Umpires: Adults or Carded Umpires Only.
6) Base Coaches: All base coaches must be Adults
7) Coaches: No more than 3 coaches are allowed in dugout
8) The 2nd visit to the same pitcher in the same inning will result in the pitcher removal.
9) Uniforms: All players must have matching uniforms with numbers.
10) Runners cannot intentionally barrel over a catcher or fielder.
11) Injured player: If player is injured and their turn comes up in the lineup he is ruled out. Opposing manger can waive the out.
12) Extra Hitters can be used. Team will field 9 and can add as many extra hitters as they choose. EH can be put in the field at any time. All Sub players can only enter the game 1 time. When a sub leaves the game he is out for good. Only the starter must come back into the same spot he was in the batting order.
13) Infield fly rule shall be enforced at all levels.
14) Courtesy runner: There are no courtesy runners unless agreed upon before the game. That includes pitchers and catchers. If courtesy runner is agreed upon it will be with 2 outs only.
15) Rosters All rosters are limited to 15 players
16) Extra inning games will be played until there a winner.
17) Bunting is allowed at all levels.
18) Player cannot appear on 2 rosters
19) Hit batters: if a pitcher hits 3 batters in an inning or 4 in a game he must be removed from the mound.
20) Finial Standings will be based on points.
21) Batting out of turn. If a player bats out of turn it can be caught at any time of the at bat. The player is automatic out.
22) PARENTS EJECTIONS::::: if a parent is ejected from a game his/her son will be suspended for the next 3 games. Second offence is for 5 games. There will be no tolerance for parents with issues.
23) Bat Rules: -9 or less
24) Major League rules apply
25) Games start at various times to be arranged by home team.
26) Pitcher no limit per game.
27) A minimum of 8 players must start and end every game.
28) Game Balls: Both teams will supply 2 game balls each
29) Balks are enforced no warnings
30) No DH can be used
31) Metal Spikes are Allowed
32) Mercy rule is 12 runs after losing team bats 5 times.
33) Pitchers my not return to the mound
34) Innings per game: All games are 7 innings DH are 6 innings
35) DH: All double headers shall be spit. 1 team home then the other
