Cleveland Elite's philosophy is quite simple, dedication and hard work in an organized environment will equal success. Cleveland Elite will organize teams of 9-11 girls who's #1 priority is volleyball. These girls will be required to attend 90-95% of all practices and must commit to attending all scheduled Junior National Qualifiers along with the National Tournament at season's end. By organizing a group of highly and equally dedicated players, coaches and parents, the players growth and performance will be maximized.
Cleveland Elite will begin practice in December and continue until the National Tournament in June. They will Practice 3-4 days a week. These practices will include volleyball, agility and strength training. At least one day a week, Cleveland Elite's athletes will receive agility training from the staff at Club Ultimate along with performing a strength training workout. By providing both volleyball and strength training the Cleveland Elite athlete will receive all necessary training to turn into an elite athlete.
Cleveland Elite will also focus on having a highly organized, efficient training system. All skills will be taught the same way from 13's on up to 18's. All offensive and defensive systems will also be the same. By teaching skills and systems the same, the Cleveland Elite coaching staff will save countless hours. This extra time will be used to thoroughly educate the athletes in all aspects of the game along with the ability to focus on the details. Most importantly this extra time will be used to teach the athletes how to win, and how to think like a winning volleyball player. Cleveland Elite will teach the atheletes all the necessary skills but more importantly teach them how to apply them and when to use them in order to defeat your opponent. All of this training combined will produce well rounded, intelligent, elite players.
