From the Coaches and Parents Clipboard, April Edition
As a parent I feel that it is important to make sure
that my child gets to all scheduled practices and games on time
as requested by the coach. I feel that it's my
responsibility to do that and to stay out of the way,
allowing the coach to do his or her job. In return should coaches be expected
to update parents about how the kids progressing on the field?

Situational Practice
This article covers a lot of baseball stuff like;
hitting situations - bunting defense - covering bases on the steals - when to hit
and when not to hit! First and Third situations. Click Here for the article...
From the Rule Book! ! ! !
Did ya know;
If any runner leaves the base before the pitched ball passes home plate, all
runners must return to their base if the batter/runner does not advance. If runner on first base
attempts to steal second, but leaves the base early, and the runner on third steals home,
both runners are returned to their bases. At no time will any runner score when a runner leaves early.
I have included some new articles from the
Coaches and Parents Clipboard below. I think you will enjoy these.
Also, I have updated our sponsors list. Please visit our sponsors
