WELCOME TO THE IHSA CLASS 2A CROSS COUNTRY AND TRACK & FIELD RANKINGS WEBSITE!!

This website will provide weekly IHSA and CPS rankings for Varsity Men and Varsity Women, based on actual race results.

This is a website were character and integrity come first, and it is the best source for information for Class 2A Cross Country and Track, and the Chicago Public League.

 The IHSA Girls Track & Field Championships will take place May 17-20, 2012 at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois.

 The IHSA Boys Track & Field Championships will take place May 24-26, 2012 at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois.

 The Chicago Public League Indoor Championships will take place on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Henry Crown Fieldhouse at the University of Chicago.

 Henry Crown Fieldhouse features an athlete friendly atmosphere, upper deck seating, 200m Indoor Track and has been the host to numerous National meets, and local Championship meets as well. The main wall of the stadium contains a list of field house records, which include several Olympians. The first Heisman Trophy winner (1935), Jay Berwanger is still listed on the all-time list for Henry Crown for the 55m Dash. Henry Crown Fieldhouse is a Chicago landmark that is rich in Track & Field history.

 Teams were moved up and down from 2011 to 2012. The following are the divisions for the 2012 Indoor City Championships:

 GROUP A

 Whitney Young, Morgan Park, Lane Tech, Mather, Walter Payton, Northside College Prep, Perspectives Calumet, Simeon, Kenwood, North Lawndale, Lindblom Girls, Marshall Boys, and Brooks.

 GROUP B

 Robeson, Kelvyn Park, Harlan, Orr, Dunbar, Steinmetz, Curie, Harper, Lakeview, Von Steuben, Westinghouse, and Fenger.

 GROUP C

 All other Chicago Public Schools will be in this division. Group C will be run as a "Relay Meet" with limited entries in the individual events. Top 6 actual seed marks in the 55m Hurdles. Top 12 actual seed marks in the 200m, 400m, 800m, and 1600m. Top 14 actual seed marks in the 55m dash.
