This is a website were character and integrity come first, and it is the best source for information for Class 2A Track & Field, and the Chicago Public League.

 The IHSA Girls Track & Field Championships will take place May 16-18, 2013 at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois.

 The IHSA Boys Track & Field Championships will take place May 23-25, 2013 at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois.

Chicago Public League announces TEAMS for the 2013 Indoor City Championship Meet

 The Chicago Public League Indoor Championships will take place on Saturday, March 23, 2013 and Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Henry Crown Fieldhouse at the University of Chicago.

 Henry Crown Fieldhouse features an athlete friendly atmosphere, upper deck seating, 200m Indoor Track and has been the host to numerous National meets, and local Championship meets as well. The main wall of the stadium contains a list of field house records, which include several Olympians. The first Heisman Trophy winner (1935), Jay Berwanger is still listed on the all-time list for Henry Crown for the 55m Dash. Henry Crown Fieldhouse is a Chicago landmark that is rich in Track & Field history.

 Teams were moved up and down from 2012 to 2013. The following are the divisions for the 2013 Indoor City Championships:

 GROUP A

 Whitney Young, Morgan Park, Lane Tech, Mather, Walter Payton, Northside College Prep, Calumet Perspectives, Simeon, Kenwood, North Lawndale, Orr, Phillips, Westinghouse, Lincoln Park, Dunbar, and Johnson College Prep (Girls only). The "A" division will compete at 9:15 am on Sunday, March 24, 2013.

 GROUP B

 Brooks, Curie, Fenger, Harlan, Harper, Kelly, Kelvyn Park, Kennedy, King, Lakeview, Marshall, Robeson, Steinmetz, and Von Steuben. The "B" division will compete at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 24, 2013.

 GROUP C

 Al Raby, Amundsen, Austin, Bogan, Bowen, Carver Military, Chicago AGSI, Chicago Military, Chicago Vocational, Clark, Collins Academy, Corliss, Crane, Douglass, DuSable, Foreman, Gage Park, Hancock, Hirsh, Hope, Hubbard, Hyde Park, Juarez, Little Village, Manley, Marine Military, Mucin, Henry Ford Powerhouse High, Prosser, Roosevelt, Schurz, Senn, South Shore, South Shore Intl, Spry, Sullivan, Taft, Englewood, U. of C. Woodlawn, UIC Prep, Uplift, Urban Prep, Washington, Epic, Goode, Johnson College Prep (Boys only), DRW, CICS-Longwood, and Perspectives-MSA will compete in Group C. Group C will be run as a "Relay Meet" with limited entries in the individual events. Top 6 actual seed marks in the 55m Hurdles, 200m, and 400m. Top 12 actual seed marks in the 800m, and 1600m. Top 14 actual seed marks in the 55m dash. The "C" division will compete at 9:30 am on Saturday, March 23, 2013.
