Cincinnati ELITE Coaches Code of Ethics
-Knowledge of Fast-Pitch Softball:
The Coaches of the Cincinnati Elite Softball program will know the rules and fundamentals of the game and will teach them to their players.
-Coaches will abide by the rules of the sport and will attend clinics whenever possible to further their development. Practices will be organized so they are fun and challenging.
-Safety:
The Coaches will stress the safety aspects of fast-pitch softball and will know and review first-aid principles.
Respect:
-The coaches will treat players, officials and opponents with respect at all times. Profanity and vulgarity will not be tolerated. Coaches will lead by example and keep the lines of communication open to their players and parents at all times.
Self-Esteem
-Coaches will ensure that all players on the team will understand that they are vitally important to the success of the team. We will maintain an environment that accomplishes this by emphasizing each players strengths and will take full advantage of these strengths for the good of the entire team.
-Enjoyment:
The Coaches will keep in perspective that the game is for the enjoyment of the players selected to our teams. The principle of enjoyment of the game, will be followed to ensure that our players learn more about the game and enjoy the experience of playing on a team.
