CHINO HILLS PONY BASEBALL: CHPB NEWS

CHANGES COMING TO THE SHETLAND, PINTO AND PONY DIVISIONS IN 2009.

Big changes are being planned for the Pony, Pinto and the Shetland Divisions.  What does the Pony Division and "U" have in common?  Is Pinto ready for the CHPB World Series?  A third party making calls at the half way point in Shetland?  Three All-Star teams in two different Divisions?  Don't miss what is in store for Chino Hills Pony Baseball in 2009!  Check back for more information as it is released.

1. Shetland Division:  Umpires at the mid- point of the season for every game.

2. Three Shetland All-Star Teams (Red 6U, Blue 6/5U and Black 5U only).

3. Three Pinto All-Star Teams, Red, Blue and Black (7U only).

4. Pinto National and American Divisions.

5. Winner of the Pinto National and American Divisions advance to the Pinto     CHPB World Series.

6.  "And under" rule will be implemented in the Pony Division which will now be known as the Pony 14U Division. Pony International passed the "and under" rule last year.  The effect is that an entire 12 year old team can play up in the Pony Division.  At this time, the May 1 cut-off date will not be changed based upon the passage of the "and under" rule.
