Chiefs 96: My Site News

The 96 Chiefs concluded their quest for a state title one game short.  The Chiefs fell 3 to 2 to the Rochester Rattlers in the state semi-final game.  The game was a tight contest with the Chiefs getting a few scoring chances in the last minute against the 4th ranked team in the country but none found the back of the net.

Congratulations to the Chiefs who improved throughout the year.  They closed out the season going on a 23-7-1 run against tougher teams as the playoffs progressed.  This included 6 games versus Yzerman and AAA teams.

The Chiefs defeated the Novi Ice Cats 3 to 2 at the Hockeytown State Fairgrounds to capture the Little Ceaser's Adams Playoff Championship.

The Chiefs won their last 6 LCAHL playoff games outscoring their opponents 23 to 6.
