Cheetahs win the Robert Moreland Memorial Tournament!

Hello All. All we wanted to say was “Outstanding”, what a day! The Cheetahs came into this year’s tournament with a mission to obtain a championship in a tournament that has eluded them over the past number of years. The Cheetah’s played 3 games and improved as each game went on. Every aspect of the Cheetahs plays was outstanding. The Cheetah’s stated off against the host team and handled them with a 7-0 win. We then turned to the second game against an MOT team that came into the tournament as the bracket favorite, well in their eyes and left the game frustrated as the Cheetahs came away with a 1-0 win, but the score did not dictate the true play of the game, for the Cheetahs total dominated the play of the game especially in the second half where with great passing and ball control, the Cheetah played most of the second half of the game pressuring there opponents defense and goalie. The Cheetahs then went into the third game against a very strong and improved and well-coached Aston team and came away with another dominated performance winning 3-0 and controlling a good portion of the game. In all it was a beautiful day even though the sun was not shinning in the sky in was shinning in the Cheetah’s play. We also want to thank our guest players that blended beautifully with our girls to create some fun to watch soccer. Please add another accomplishment to this team of young ladies, for it was well deserved.

We now need to turn the page and get prepared for the semi-finals and finals of indoor soccer that take place this Tuesday night, it will be a challenge but that is what this team is all about and when we play our best!

Thanks you again for a great day of “OUTSTANDING” soccer.

The Coaches & Manager.
