Board Meeting Minutes
o George was able to have Score replace 40 defective soccer balls.
o Terry presented the Treasurer’s report and requested a plan of the expenses for the remainder of the season.
o The Travel teams raised $2,100 between the Wal-Mart and Pathmark Fundraisers! The Club also raised $223 through the Travel Teams’ contribution!

o The Club is preparing for our annual Bingo on October 22. This year’s theme will be a Hawaiian Luau! The Chichester School District will be charging the club $336 to use the Middle School Cafeteria on that date. We are currently looking into other facilities for the event. Please contact Christina if would like to volunteer to help with the event.
o The club needs all Intramural and Travel teams to put together Raffle Baskets for our Club Bingo. Please drop off your Team Basket at the Snack Bar or see Kelly or Christina.
o The Club will be selling Hoodies, Stadium Blankets, Visors, Seat Cushions and Soccer Bags this season. Orders will be placed and filled within 2-3 weeks. The order form is on the club website. Christina has samples!
o The Club will open the snack bar on Opening day, King of the Hill and World Cup games. Doug is working on a schedule to have the Travel teams stock and run the snack bar as a fundraiser to help cover some of their expenses for the remaining Saturdays of the season.
o Our end of season celebration at the Ballrooms at Boothwyn is set for November 27 and Betty’s is tentatively scheduled for November 30. We are looking for volunteers to help with these events! Please contact Christina if you can lend a hand!
Christina will be collecting
o Kelly has revived our Club’s registration database and has it current and up to date! She is currently putting together the list of families that need to get Fundraising tickets as well as the list of families that have outstanding fees. The club needs to order additional booklets. The plan is to distribute the tickets in early October.

o The club has partnered with Soccer Shots to run week night practice sessions for our U4s and U6s as well as our U8 Academy program in the fall. U4 and U6s will only practice on Wednesday nights and the U8 Academy program will run on Friday nights. U4 and U6 practice sessions are covered with club registrations and the U8 Academy will be an additional cost. U8 Academy registrations will be taken through the Soccer Shots website at http://delawarecounty.soccershots.org/index.cfm
Intramural referees will be paid monthly
($12 per game). Our U8, U11, & MS divisions
will use 1 referee per game. Anyone
interested in refereeing our Intramural games should contact
