During Schinagl's collegiant career, he posted 3 All Region Awards (NJCAA Region IV, 2 - NCAA DIII) and 3 All Conference Awards for his role as a hitter. His Sophomore year he batted .419, leading a 7th ranked team nationally (Elgin Community College) in hitting. After a year off, he found himself anchoring the Concordia Cougars line up and in just two years set the Single Season HR record (14) and the Career HR record (25). Will absolutely loves the competition of playing baseball at such a high level. He often strives to play the game at its highest level and leaves nothing on the field. Will looks forward to beginning his coaching career at Elgin Community College in the Fall of 2008 and is ready to help young athletes reach their greatest potential.
