Pirates defeat Wolverines 27-16
The Wolverines travel to Algonquin, IL and come away with a 27-16 loss to the McHenry County Pirates(NAFL). Check the Game Recap page for details.

Lions scratch up Wolverines
Wolverines traveled to Bensenville and fall to the Leyden Lions 27-6.



Monday, July 24
Louisville Bulls bully the Wolverines
Traveling with only 24 players the Louisville Bulls hand the Woloverines a lopsided 46-6 loss. With 20+ missing players, substituting was not an option on the offensive and defensive lines.

Thursday, August 10
Wolverines lose to Milwaukee 25-8
At the half the score was tied 0-0. Both offense's just missing on opportunities to score in the 1st half. In the second half the Maurauders hit a FG then capitalized on a two turnovers to put the Wolverines down 17-0 before they scored on a two yard run by new comer RB Keith Broderick. The offense was able to move up and down the field but was un able to connect when needed due to being guided by new QB James "JD" Davis, with only one week of practice under thier belt together.

Friday, August 18
Finally...
The Wolverines finally get in the win column with a 20-4 win over the Kenosha Vikings. QB James Davis tossed 3 td's passes to WR's Randy Williams, Shaun Scott and rookie Quinton Hicks. David Williams lead the rushing attack with 65yards on 6 carries. The defense played a tremendous game shuting down the Vikings offense. Next up is a trip to Aurora, IL and the nationally ranked Kane County Eagles.

Friday, August 25
Wolverines take it on the chin from Kane County
Saturday August 26th the Wolverines traveled to Aurora, IL to take on the National ranked Kane County Eagles and took it hard on the chin with a 44-0 loss. The game was scoreless halfway through the 2nd quarter when the Eagles hit paydirt. At halftime the Wolverines found themselves down 20-0. Penalties and young mistakes didn't help the cause.

Tuesday, September 26
Back to the land of cheese
The Wolverines traveled back to Milwaukee to take on the Mauraders and fell short again in a 28-14 loss. When needed the Maurader defense bent but did not break. THe Wolverines had many opportunities but failed to produce points when needed.

Mistakes doom Wolverines in a Sunday afternoon battle
Numerous mistakes on defense, offense and special teams doomed the Wolverines early and put them in a 17-0 hole that they just could seem to escape from. Offense had numerous opportunities but when ever the red zone was close, a mistake occured. Next week they try to turn it around against the Joliet Stallions. The Kenosha Vikings have decided not to continue thier season due to their league folding.

Wolverines tame the Stallions
The Wolverines put another W in the win column for this season by beating the Joliet Stallions 36-0. The "O Train" was finally able to get out of the station. The offense racked up 200+ yards on the ground. Constant pressure from the defense caused 2 fumbles and 3 picks. The offensive & defensive lines played a spectacular game. Next up is the Great Lake Makos from Auburn Hills, MI.

Great Lake Makos game cancelled
The game Saturday against the Great Lake Makos was cancelled due to the Makos not being able to secure the field.

Thursday, October 5
Wolverines 2006 finale ends in a loss
Saturday the Wolverines season came to a end with a 35-6 loss to the Cook County Cardnails. We would like to thank all the have supported us this season.
