CLOSING CEREMONIES WILL BE JUNE 1ST  STARTING AT 10AM.  ALL PLAYERS WILL RECEIVE A PARTICIPATION AWARD. 2013-2014 BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTIONS WILL ALSO BE HELD THAT DAY. ANYONE INTERESTED IN PLACING THEIR NAME ON THE BALLOT PLEASE EMAIL THE LEAGUE AT CONTACTUS@CHEYENNELL.COM . IN ORDER TO BE ELECTED TO THE BOD, YOU MUST RECEIVE MORE THAN 50% OF THE TOTAL NUMBER OF VOTES PLACED. PER THE CLL BYLAWS, THE AMOUNT OF MANAGER/COACHES ALLOWED TO BE ON THE BOD CAN NOT EXCEED 50%. BEING ON THE BOD CONSISTS OF BETWEEN 10-30 HOURS A WEEK DEPENDING ON THE TIME OF YEAR.

BOB TILLMAN
My name is Bob Tillman. I have been a coach in Cheyenne Little League for six years now and plan on coaching as long as my kids want me too. In the past five seasons I have managed two teams each season. I really enjoy teaching these kids the game of baseball as well as life lessons. It is real rewarding watching them grow older, smarter and better.
Three and a half years ago I was asked to join the CLL Board of Directors. I was a little hesitant at first, I had no idea how much work and time it took to run the league.  Since joining the BOD I have held the positions of Equipment Manager, Vice President and Coaches Agent.
 I believe we have made great head way in getting the league heading in the right direction, but our work is not done. With your support I will continue to serve the kids of Cheyenne Little League. If you have any questions for me please don’t hesitate to ask. I will be at the baseball fields on any given night. I appreciate your consideration.

Hello,
My name is Leaha Buchanan and i am once again asking for your votes for the 2013/2014 BOD. I have been on the BOD for Cheyenne for almost two years now and love the challenge of being apart of the interworking of the league. I currently hold the positions of secretary and player agent. I love working with the children to make this the best experience for them and with your vote would like to continue this experience.
My boys have played on many teams during our 4 years with the league and I have been team mom for most of those team, along side my husband. I will continue to volunteer in every way that I can to help the further players al CLL.
If you have any questions I will be at Seastrand for most of the tournament come by the snack bar and ask away.

My name is Vanessa Tillman and I would like your vote for the 2013-14 BOD. I have been on the BOD at Cheyenne LL since August 2009. In that time I have been Treasurer the entire time but have also in past seasons held the position of Secretary. I believe I have brought good things to the BOD. I know how to run a business so as Treasurer I believe I keep good account of our finances, in fact a few seasons ago I received the nickname "Money Nazi".
I have a son that plays in our league and a daughter that plays softball in another league. I would like to continue to help this league grow in the right direction. Please feel free to stop by and talk to me, during the tournament as I can be found at the fields all the time. Thanks

Hello there fellow Cheyenne little league members my name is kiana Wong and I have proudly been a Cheyenne little league board member this past fall and spring season. I would love to run again for the board of director for Cheyenne little league season 2013-2014. Many of you may know who I am but for those of you that don't I will tell you alittle about myself. I have been part of Cheyenne little league for 4 years I have 2 boys jaydin who plays in aaa and Caleb who plays in aa. My boys as well as myself have a huge passion for baseball. I myself have played ball for many years as a toddler up till my early adulthood and would choose nothing more than to continue to be around the game. I love to watch kids grow and become more interested in the game. I have a full time job and currently spend about 15+ hours at the fields a week. I would love to have your vote to be re-elected back to the board so myself and others could continue to make the league a stronger, safer and more enjoyable place for your children and yourself to be a part of .

Hello my name is Roxie Lopez. I joined Cheyenne little league board this
season. My son plays on the junior Braves. I plan on coaching a single a
team in the fall.
I've been involved in baseball/softball since I was 7. I played baseball til
I was 12. Than softball all thru high school. N played one season of college
ball.
My kids have been playing since they were 4. I've been a manger coach team
mom u name it.
I've was on the board in California for over 10 years. From player agent
equipment to snack stand. I helped start a ASA league for the girls in
Hawthorne California.
I love the game n enjoy being a part of the league.

Hello Cheyenne Little League Parents, Coaches and Supporters!

I will be running for a position on the Cheyenne Little League Board of Directors. I would like to elicit your support in making Cheyenne Little League all that it can be and more. The vote for next year’s Board of Directors will be during the closing ceremonies on June 1st. In order for myself to be elected to the board I need to receive more than 50% of the total number of votes placed. I am looking for everyone's support on this! Please feel free to forward this to everyone you know that is a part of Cheyenne Little League.

My name is Jennie Riedl. This is my 3rd full season with Cheyenne Little League. I’ve been proud to be part of four AA and AAA teams; the Mudhens, Indians, Yankees, and now the Diamond Backs! My son Connor, just like your child, has been a great asset to the Cheyenne Little League family. Without you and your child we would never know the impact Cheyenne Little League has made on our children. I am seeking your vote to become a member of Cheyenne Little League Board of Directors. I am not a coach, neither is my husband. I am just a concerned parent and a team score keeper that would like to make a difference in your child's baseball experience. I feel we should have more NON COACHES on the Board of Directors so the decisions are fair for all our baseball players. By no means am I saying that the current Board of Directors is not playing fair. I think they have done a great job for Cheyenne Little League. Especially, with what they have been against this year as well as previous years. I just think it would be beneficial to have some fresh faces on the board with great new ideas!

 I ask each of you to think of your child's best interest as you cast your vote this June 1st! I would be honored if you would vote for me and look forward to hearing any feedback that would benefit our children during their little league journey! I know I can't change things overnight, but I would love to voice your ideas and opinions towards making this an economical and successful little league going forward. Remember, YOUR VOTE DOES make a difference! I am more than happy to give out my personal email and cell phone numbers, so that anyone can contact me with any concerns. I would love to start a weekly website newsletter including a question and answer feedback page for the Board of Directors as well as a Bi-Monthly/Monthly “town hall forum” style pow-wow with our parents. I know these ideas are on my wish list of things that could make this league into a positive and fulfilling all around atmosphere.  I believe it would be incredible to publicly acknowledge the wonderful strides the kids, parents, and coaches are achieving! Don't forget to cast your vote on the nomination sheet for the member that you feel will make a difference for your child! I wish you and your child success in the upcoming years at Cheyenne Little League!

I have served on the board for the past 2  years as Player Agent and President. As President I enjoy spending time at the fields with all the kids seeing them grow and mature and turn into young men and women. I would like to run for the board again and take any position needed. I have coached for 4 years at Cheyenne and enjoyed every minute of it, if elected I will give the same dedication I have given since joining. My other passion is field maintenance I enjoy spending time on the fields with help for Mike C nail dragging and dragging the fields at Avairy, Goynes and Seastrand.     Every year on closing day the members of Cheyenne Little League elect the next years Board of Directors. Once again I would like your consideration in being selected to the board. For those who don't know me, I am the guy you seen this year driving around in circles dragging the fields usually with the help of Rich. I have been on the BOD of CLL for since 2011 and have enjoyed all of it.
     Over the past years I have held the positions of President, Vice President, Coaches Agent, Secretary, Umpire Manager, and Information Officer. I have managed teams for the last 4 years in the AA, AAA, and Majors divisions. I was also afforded the opportunity last year to be a coach of the State Champion 9/10 year old All Star team.   
    Only second to my family, baseball has always been the love of my life. I have played it since the age of 4 and have never missed a year of being on the ball field. I love being able to pass on the knowledge I have obtained by playing all levels from Little League thru College and Semi-pro. The kids in this league are some of the best around. 
    I would like to continue being part of the BOD and keeping the league moving in the right direction. The current BOD as well as last years, have taken the league that was $40,000 in debt with the City of North Las Vegas left by the BOD's prior to a $0 balance. If you have any questions, please feel free to talk to me anytime.

Hello my name is Naomi Heatwole and I am asking for your votes to rejoin the board of directors for the 2013/2014 playing year. I first joined the board at CLL fall 2012 when my daughter was in tball and although she is no longer a player for Cheyenne I have a nephew who plays for triple A. I have recently been in charge of concessions for spring 2013 and I have put in great time and effort for the snack shack to be a success for CLL. I am a stay at home mom who enjoys helping out, and I hope to support Cheyenne Little League again for another year.
