YOU'RE INVITED

To the Formation of the Cheyenne Capitals Booster Club!
More importantly we need YOU, Your Ideas,Your Contacts!

We have been officially blessed by Cheyenne Capitals Youth Hockey Association (CCYHA) to allow us to support them now by donating time, resources and efforts. We can now assist the Capitals through fundraising and other volunteer efforts.

What does that mean?

It means now we can organize fundraisers to directly benefit CCYHA

We now will have a direct line of contact to CCYHA that allows us the ability to donate items that CCYHA needs and requests.

We can now solicit companies and vendors on behalf of the Capitals Booster Club to benefit CCYHA directly

We can do just about anything a normal school oriented booster club can do

We can bring awareness to the community and businesses at large to help us support CCYHA

We can do grass roots letter writing campaigns to get more funding for CCYHA

I am sure we could maybe do some grant writing if anyone had that skill

We can form committees to accomplish tasks

We will be taking a huge load off of CCYHA Board of Directors in regards to assisting with planning events and
finding ways to funnel creative ideas for fundraising.

Who can be a part of it?

ANYONE. That is right, anyone that has a desire to support CCYHA, its Players, Coaches and its STAFF.

Everyone from friends, relatives and others in the community can get involved

What does it cost?

It depends on what you want it to cost.

You can donate:

Your time

Your money

Your creative ideas

Your contacts in the community

Food items

You can get on a committee

You can help cook for an event or be there to help set it up

You can go into the community and search out those that want to donate things to CCYHA or want to SPONSOR CCYHA

When does it begin?

Our FIRST Organizational meeting will be:
April 23, 2009
6:30-8:50PM at the Laramie County Library
3rd floor Wildflower Room

How much of a commitment do I have to make?

The commitment begins when you want it to and can last as long as you want it to.

Maybe you want to be like me and do this for a year. Maybe you just want to help out on a certain event.
Maybe you want to help cook or maybe you want to write letters or grants.

In the end it all comes down to CCYHA has allowed us to form a positive contributing club that will channel our
 efforts more effectively and in an organized fashion.
