Our 3rd Annual FALL SEASON Comes to a CLOSE!

CLL Families,

TODAY, Sat, Nov. 3rd, is our LAST day of the Fall Ball Season! We hope you and your children have enjoyed this extra special time of additional baseball and softball for the year! We will be taking a break over the Winter and start up again next Spring!

We hope you'll join us for Spring Season which begins in March and runs to June. Registration for Spring will begin ONLINE on our website, www.chesapeakelittleleague.org, next month and run until the end of February. We will also have some Walk-In Registrations beginning in Jan/Feb. We'll send out more details and reminders throughout the next few months!

As we finish up the Fall Season, I'd like us ALL to take a moment to say "THANK YOU" to ALL THOSE that have made this Season possible: Your Team Manager, Assistant Coaches, Team Mom/Dad, Umpires, Scorekeepers, and your CLL Board of Directors and Committee Chairs! It takes MANY VOLUNTEERS to get a league going and keep it going. Please remember to say "THANKS"!!!

I'd also like to say a Special Thanks to Sarah Dill who stepped up this Season to get our Concessions going! And, to Jorge Arocho, our Umpire in Chief, who will be leaving us this December after doing a FANTASTIC JOB for the last 2 years! THANK YOU!!! Words cannot express my appreciation!

We are looking for someone to fill his and other positions for the Spring. Please let me know if you are interested!

Openings for the Spring are:

Vice President/Coach Training Coordinator
Umpire in Chief

Softball Player Agent

Sponsorship Coordinator

Concessions Manager

Spirit Wear Coordinator
Restaurant Spirit Night Coordinator
Opening and Closing Day Ceremony Coordinator

Please consider stepping up to assist your league!

If interested, please contact me at chesapeakeLL@aol.com asap.

Last, I'd like to say "THANKS" to Joe Bofo who has been working hard to help keep our Crestwood Fields mowed and maintained and to Ariel Whitethorne who was instrumental in getting our Hugo Jr/Sr Field up and running for our older Baseball players this season! And, to MY FAMILY, for filling in when and where needed! Much Thanks!

Again, thanks for joining us this Fall! Have a Great Ball Day and we hope to see you in the Spring!

Tuesday Alaniz
