The Charlotte Flames offer a highly competitive, high value youth travel hockey experience. We are committed to player development to help each and every player reach their full potential. A very low player to coach ratio is maintained to further accelerate and enhance development.
Another unique feature of the program is that it is run like a cooperative. We believe that parental involvement through volunteering will enhance the overall hockey experience and reduce costs/fees. This means that there is full financial transparency within all our teams and funds are used to enhance the program for the athletes. Another driver behind this approach is that it promotes the growth of hockey by minimizing the financial barrier that prevents some kids from playing the game at the highest levels.
