New U9 Boys Team Enjoys Rockin' Start
The U9 Boys Elite team traveled to Winchester, KY on Sept 19-20 for the Winchester Classic and came home with two wins, two ties, medals, and lots of good memories after two days of hard work and competition. Not even heavy rain and lightning could dampen the spirits of the U9's. who batteld back from a 4-1 deficit in Game 2 on Saturday to pull off a solid 5-5 tie. Congratulations to Steven, Conner, Justin, Eli, Tate, Garrett, Zach, Grant, Niko, Simon, and Coach Marty on a great weekend. Well done boys!
The U12 Girls CFC Fire team also participated in the Winchester Classic, going 2-1 on the weekend and losing in group play to eventual champion Madison United by a close score of 2-0. Good job girls!

In Memoriam........Louie Molina
It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we share with you the terrible news that Louie Molina passed away on July 16th. Sami ( U16 girls ) and Alex ( U18 boys ) were so fortunate to have Louie as their Dad. He was a generous man who lived for his five children and his wife Dawn and was always willing to help wherever needed. Marty and Thomas were fortunate enough to attend his memorial service and simply judging by the hundreds of people at the visitation service he sure will be missed. He was a terrific man and we were lucky to have known him.
