End of Off-Season Training

CTR’s 6 Week off sason training program has come to an end for children ages 8 to 16.

We would like to thank all children from bordering Leagues for their participation. We hope you enjoyed our program and benefited from the experience and extra conditioning.

Enjoy your spring season and hope to see you next winter!

CTR’s mandatory coaches clinic for all managers and assistant coaches of all levels is scheduled for Sunday March 9th.

CTR’s Umpires clinic is scheduled for Sunday, March 16th.

Volunteers will be contacted with times. Both located In the Civic Center.

CTR is on the move....

CTR would like to wish the best of luck to our 10U travel team in there upcoming tournaments. Our boys are off to Allentown, PA on July 26-27th.

Next stop is Clarke County for two games with CCLLs 10U teams on Saturday, August 2 at 10am in CC and on Sunday the 3rd at 3pm. Sundays game will be played at Sam Michaels Park.

Then off to Williamsburg, VA on August 15th & 16th for a tournament near Bush Gardens.

CTRLL Christmas Float

 

Charles Town Ranson Little League will be entering a float in the Charles Town Christmas parade. The event is December 6th. If you would like for your child to take part and have not been contacted please contact a board member.

A BIG thank you goes out to Deena Jackson and hear event committee members. The Mackey’s, Jackson, Davis and Viands families have done CTR proud once again. Thanks guys!

Congratulations to CTRs Event Committee and all the children that participated as our float finished second in the civic organization class at the 2008 Christmas Parade. Great job guys!!!!

CTRLL Umpires Training at Little League Headquarters.....

Umpire Gary Howell and Assistant Umpire in Chief JT Studinarz will be attending the Little League Umpire Clinic in Williamsport, Pennsylvania on March 27 & 28, 2010.


75 Umpires from around the United States will be attending to hone their skills on field mechanics, plate mechanics as well as base mechanics.

CTRLL Off-Season Family Events.....

Due to the cancelation of Charles Town Christmas Parade, CTRLL participated in the Harpers Ferry Parade this year. CTRLL’s Board members would like to thank Harpers Ferry’s Leadership for hosting this wonderful event.

A special thank you should go out to Deena Jackson and the rest of the Event Committee for making this an annual susses for our league and providing such a fun off-season event for our children. Thanks Team!

2009 Fall Ball.....

CTRLL’s fall ball program has concluded. On August 9th the CTR Patriots (Junior), the Freedom, the Revolution (both Majors), and the Cadets (Minor) started their 19 game, District 6 schedules. The season ended on October 9th. Great season gang!!!

Indoor Hitting League.....
33 members and 11 teams of CTRLL and CTRYB Travel participated in the indoor winter hitting only league in Frederick, Md.

A six game season ran from November 4th to December 17th.

CTRLL Annual Off-Season Training Program.....

CTR's 3rd annual off-season training program is set.

There will be training every Sunday starting January 3rd and runs until Febraury 28th. Total of 9 sessions.
