Charles Ranson Little League is in area 1 of West Virginia’s District 6. Other area 1 Leagues include Jefferson, South Berkeley, Martinsburg, Hedgesville and Morgan County. Area 2 leagues include Bi-State, East Hardy, Grant County, Hampshire County, Keyser, Moorefield and Pendleton County.
District 6 is very competitive each year and collectively had a very successful 2009 tournament season. There was a District 6 team (or teams) in every State semi-final tournament we participated in.
Our District 6 teams advanced to 9 of the 10 State finals. Out of the 10 State tournaments our D6 Leagues participated in, 5 were State Champions. There are 120 other Little Leagues in WV and are broken down into 7 Districts.
CTRLL’s borders presently include all of Summit Point, Lee Town and Kearneysville. As well as all Charles Town and Ranson addresses west of routes 340 and 9.
At our park we have moved into the final phase of the major renovation to our baseball/softball complex at Sam Michaels Park. The final phase consists of a new field with an all-dirt infield for our softball program and a future challenger league. Our park is conveniently located less then 3 miles from the new Ransons shopping center.
Read about our park, the renovation project and all about the 2010 season as you browse the site. You will find CTR’s regular season and all-star team photos on the album tab. All registration forms needed can be found under the handout tab and much more.
