2009 Cerbo National Baseball League: Rules

Ground Rules
12U NO BIG BARREL BATS, only in the 12U 50/70

8U & 9U No advancement on stealing or pick off attempts.

All teams should discuss various rules before each game. Coaches will interpret rules differently. Just make sure.

8U & 9U- 5 Run Rule
Immediately after a fifth run is scored in an inning that inning is over. In the 6th inning the 5 run rule is waived.

Game Changing
There is no game changing unless approved by the opposing coach. If he does not approve there is a forfeit enforced. If the team forfeits they will be removed from the league.

Pitching Rules
8-12U 3 Inning Pitch Rule per game applies all Leagues for 6 inning games.
8-12U 4 Inning Pitch Rule per game applies all Leagues for 7 inning games.
11U 50/70-12U 50/70 4 Inning Pitch Rule per game applies all Leagues
13U-18U 9 Inning Pitch Rule per game applies Fall Leagues



Bat Sizes
2 1/4 barrel for all ages 8U-12U.
12U 50/70 2 3/4 barrel is ok.
New 13's Any bat size is ok.
13U Minus 9
14U Minus 5
16U Wood
18U Wood

CBL Bans / Suspensions
Cerbo Baseball League reserves the right to remove or ban any player, coach, or parent from the league based on misconduct, verbal abuse, acts of violence, or actions which are detrimental to the operations of the league.

All bans and removal are subject to a time frame that will be discussed with the parties at the time of dismissal.
