Hello Coach,
My name is Tracey Roman and I am the tournament director for the Northern Onondaga Youth Sports Complex located ten minutes North of Syracuse, NY. I wanted to make you aware of tournaments that we will be hosting this summer:
-June 19th & 20th: 12 & under 1st Annual Down and Dirty Classic
-June 19th & 20th: 16 & under 1st Annual Down and Dirty Classic
-July 17th & 18th: 12 & under 1st Annual Midsummer Slam
-July 17th & 18th: 14 & under 1st Annual Midsummer Slam
-July 31st & Aug. 1st: 14 & under 1st Annual Fastpitch Frenzy
-August 7th & 8th: 16 & under 25th Annual Plank Road Tournament
I am a softball alumni of UMASS Amherst so I am familiar with how long the trip takes to Syracuse from Massachusetts. We are roughly about three hours from Springfield and 5 1/2 from the Boston area. We offer a beautiful and new four field complex complete with lights, permanent bathrooms, and concession stand. We are also conveniently located from the NYS Thruway. | Hey Coach Mike!!!, this is Coach Joe from the Bobkatz!! How are things going with you and your team? Just thought i'd drop in and check your sight out. I would also like to thank you and your coaches as well as all your girls for a great weekend of very well played softball in Easthampton! We went on to lose in the final to Worcester County 7-3. We had a 1-0 lead in the 5th inning and my pitcher ran out of gas. Then the roof fell in on us in the 6th inning. But i'm proud of my team. We've come along way since our first tournament!! The story doesn't end there!! As it turned out we played them this weekend in our own PONYQUALIFIER in our first game. We got a little paybback i'm happy to say with an 11-6 pasting!! As it turned out we went 3-0 on Saturday and ended up the number 2 seed based on a runs against tie-breaker!! It's now Sunday and we got rained out for the second day of the tournament and we end up with another runner-up trophy!!! Oh well!! Just another little tidbit for ya. We're playing you guys at 9:45 Saturday morning!! I'm looking forward to seeing you and your team next weekend. It should be lots of fun!! |
