Arkansas State Director,

Hey Mike, I know sometimes all you hear are the bad things about what is going on. I just wanted to take a few minutes to let you know about some of the good things. Rusty Imhoff threw one heck of a tournament this weekend. We all had a great time and experience. It actually has made some of our teams, parents, and parks want to commit to helping build the USSSA A class ball in AR. I have been a baseball commisioner and district commisioner for 10 years now and only wish that we had, what we seen, and what we experienced this weekend that long ago. I can only say that all of our teams came away saying how awesome it was to do a state in one weekend and not 2 1/2 weeks. I can always tell a great rantournament by how many times I have to talk with the tournament director about the tournament. We had to talk with Rusty none. He made sure to call us before the tournament to give us times, answer questions, and make sure we were informed. I had never ment Rusty before this weekend and was introduced to him while I was up there. He made it a point to go by to the coaches while we were there to talk to us, keep us updated, and speak highly of the USSSA system. This is something you usually do not see. A lot of times everyone want your money and tells you to move on. I would also like to tell you how please we are with Kevin Jumper. I commend you on having great folks Both Kevin and Rusty have made us see the light. We just bought 15 acres next to our park. I will be pushing that we build and go USSSA all the way. Thank you

I was just going to let you know that the tournament went great.
The umpires were great . I dont think you could have had any better
umpires.
Searcy needs to look into getting some like that.
We look forward to playing weekend after next.

Dear Rusty:
I just wanted to drop you a note of thanks for organizing the
baseball tournament this past weekend. It was very well organized and the
competition was very, very good. We appreciate the opportunity to play
and our kids improved a lot getting to play against such good
competition. I appreciate all that you do, as I know it’s not easy to put
together a tournament.

Warmest regards,

Greg Hatcher
