Centerville 6th Grade Select Baseball

The 2009 season holds many changes and has a lot in store for the Sluggers.  After three very successful seasons, the coaching staff is looking forward stepping up to the next level.  Winter workouts began in January 11th (see Team Updates) to prepare for the spring.  This season will include play in the Midwest Ohio Baseball League's 12U Division I, tournaments in Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton, but most important will be the weeklong trip to Cooperstown, NY to play in the 2009 American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame Invitational Tournament.  

While the team is based in Centerville, the name has become a bit misleading, as the roster now includes players from Centerville, Oakwood, Springboro and Waynesville.  Also, there is a roster spot open, so the team is looking for an additional player.  Please contact brent@futureelks.org for more information.     

In addition to this team that is moving on to the Midwest Ohio Baseball League's 12U Division I, there will be Sluggers teams in both the 11U and 10U age-levels.  To learn more about this team, contact brent@futureelks.org.
