Centennial Youth Baseball-Softball Association: All-Stars

All-Stars is the highest level of competition in the Cal Ripken- Babe Ruth organization for Baseball players ages 9-18, and Softball players 10U-18U.

Players for the All-Star teams are selected by one of two methods:  (1) Selected by the coaches of their division, or  (2) A two day tryout process where players showcase their skills and attitude in front of the "All-Star Coaching Staff" and members of CYBSA, who observing all participants select the most outstanding players from the tryout player pool.

The selected players practice for 2 weeks together in preperation for their first level of tournament competition, whether starting at the District or State level and through winning can advance to State (from District), Regional and even the World Series Tournaments. The Cal Ripken 12 year old World Series is televised each year on "VS" network.

2009* CYBSA will host the Minor 10 State All-Star Tournament.

2009* The Minor 10 World Series will be held in Lamar, Colorado.

Major 11 & 12 tryouts:

Tryouts for the 2009 All-Star team(s) will be held June 17 & 18 from 4:00 -5:45 at   Dove Valley field #2
