***Attention Coaches***

As of the 2008 season ALL Coaches are required to be ASEP certified through Babe Ruth, http://www.baberuthcoaching.org/, (includes Assistant Coaches).

All Managers and Coaches are required by the Babe Ruth-Cal Ripken organization to complete the On-line “Coaching Education and Certification” program designed by Cal and Billy Ripken. The cost of this program is $19.95 for a lifetime certification with valuable information, including: Communication; Safety & Fitness; Rules; Skills & Drills; Team Fundamentals; Planning Strategies.  The course can be printed to create your own “coaching notebook”, if desired. Completion of this course is required to coach and therefore required by CYBSA. You can take the on-line course at your own pace but it must be completed prior to July 2008.

Print a copy of your Certification for your records.

All Coaches (including Assistant Coaches) are required to submit to a criminal background check.

Please fill out the Background Check Consent form completely, the completed form will not "save" to your computer, print form and fax completed form to (303) 632-6346. 

The MANDATORY Head Coach meeting will take place on Saturday May 2nd, 2009 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Smoky Hill Public Library.

Equipment and uniform pick - up will take place on Saturday May 2nd 2009 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the "Neighborhhood Self Storage" located at 20210 E Smoky Hill Rd. units 2210 and 2203 (front row). Please do not be late as we will be leaving promptly at 4:00.
