Tryout Information

Updated tryout information:

-All returning players to the program will tryout with the varsity for the first two days of tryouts. The rationale behind this is two-fold:

1. No returning player would be cut during the first JV cut.

2. This allows for non-returning JV players to receive a "better look" with less crowded gym restraints and an overabundance of potential players at JV tryouts.

This is in no way to be misunderstood that any returning JV player will not have to earn their way onto the team as they will receive the same number of assessed tryout days as every potential player.

Tryout times:

Saturday, November 15th: V (all returning players) 10AM - 12:00 AND  4-6PM; JV 12-2PM

Monday, November 17th: V (all returning players) 4:30- 6:30; JV 2:30-4:30

Tuesday, November 18th: 4:30-6:30; JV 2:30-4:30

Offseason Action !

Spring League:

We are currently playing in the Laurel Spring League at the Boys and Girls Club. Thanks to those returning V players that are not participating in Spring Sports that are representing themselves quite well. Thanks to Offesean Coach Ron Anderson for volunteering his time. The kids are in good hands !

Summer League:

We will continue to participate in the CHS SUmmer League. The league will consist of eight varsity games all played in the month of July on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. Returning players should consider these times when making thier own summer schedules. There will be a four game CHS JV league in July as well on Wednesdays !

Summer Team Camp:

We will be attending WVU team camp June 20-22nd.  We will field two teams of returning players, one in an A and one in a B division. These will be reasonable stretches in ability for both JV and V players. All returners are encouraged to attend.
