Centennial Eagles Boys Basketball: Welcome

On Saturday night, March 3, the Eagles got themselves another golden ticket...back to Comcast Center.  For the second time in as many years, the Eagles came out triumphant defeating the Panthers of Annapolis High School in a wild, pandemonium-filled overtime game, by a score of 76-73.  In front of a packed house, selling out more than 30 minutes before tip-off, the Eagles overcame what would be a 40-point 4th quarter by the Panthers to ultimately come up with the OT win.

Fans, don't forget, the Eagles travel down I-95 to Comcast Center this Thursday, March 8 at 3 PM, when they tip off against Thomas Stone High School (Calvert County).  We hope to see everyone there cheering on our once-again regional champions.  Wear red and be VERY loud.  GO EAGLES!!! 

 The Centennial Eagles Varsity (17-2, 20-5) beat visiting Howard High School to clinch its first county title since 2005. The win secured a number one seed in the 3A East region for the second consecutive year.

Your Eagles have earned playoff wins over Howard on Tuesday (69-65) and Atholton on Thursday (63-51) to place them in their second consecutive Regional Championship Game. Centennial will host Annapolis on Saturday March 3rd at 7PM ! 

Please continue to come out and support your Eagles. Wear Red and Be LOUD!!!!!!!
