CedarburgComets: Welcome

Welcome to the Cedarburg Comets Volleyball Club website!

Greeting to all 2012-2013 Cedarburg Comets players and families.  All of our team rosters are now complete. 

If you are still seeking a position, please check the Badgervolleyball.org website for any team openings or check the Saukville YMCA for a a volleyball recreational program.

All communications will be forwarded to you via email.  We have already sent out team emails, so check for emails all season long.  Our first practice date is at First Immanuel Lutheran Church on December 2 for the U13, U14, U15 and U16 teams.  The next practice will be at Webster Middle School on December 6, and U12 will have its first practice on December 6. 

All club dues are payable on Thanksgiving.  All Badger Region Memberships must already be paid in full -  and please chose the Cedarburg Comets as your club.  I can not put any players on the roster that have not completed this step. 

Your coach will communicate a team meeting time and place.  Uniforms will be given out, and spirit wear will be ordered at that time.

 Some of our wonderful, experienced coaches are:

U14 Coach Adam Heitzkey:  current girls varsity heach coach at Homestead HS with over 11 years of HS boys and girls coaching experince and is a former collegiate club player at UW Lacrosse University

U12 Coach Sarah Hausch-Garven:  has six years club coaching experience including middle school coaching at Lumen Christi and is a former collegiate Concordia University player.

U16 Coach Austin Cass: has two years club coaching experience including boys JV coaching at Homestead HS and is a former collegiate Cardinal Stritch University player.

U13 Coach Jessica Jacklin:  has two years club coaching experience including girls JV coaching at Cedarburg HS and is a former collegiate player at Steven's Point University.

U15 Coach George Ghassan:  is currently the girls JV Brown Deer volleyball coach and is a former collegiate Cardinal Stritch University player. 

All the Comets coaches and staff are looking forward to a great volleyball season!  The tryout forms are attached in the handouts section below or left side of the page. The club brochure (with team costs) is posted on the left of the page.
