CdA Little League: Local Adopted Rules

Coeur d'Alene Little League Local Rules
1. GAME TIME LIMIT: AAA, Majors - No new inning shall start after two hours. Juniors - No new inning shall start after two hours and fifteen minutes. The plate umpire shall determine if a new inning should begin when getting close to the time limit. The Plate Umpire has the final say on ALL field activities, NO EXCEPTION'S.

2. MANDATORY PLAY TIME: AAA, Majors - Each player shall play for nine outs and bat at least one time. Juniors - Each player shall play for six outs and bat at least one time.

3. UNIFORMS: Appropriate numbered team jersey with gray pants.

4. COURTESY RUNNER: We will allow a courtesy runner for the catcher when there are two outs. This does not count as a "Special Pinch Runner."

5. UMPIRES: The home team will provide the plate umpire. The visiting team will provide the field umpire.

6. FIELD PREPARATION: Before the game the home team shall rake the field. Water the field if necessary. Chalk the field and put the bases in position. After the game the visiting team shall rake the field and put the bases away.

7. TIE BALL GAMES: Majors, Juniors - There are no "Ties." Complete the game at the start of the next game time the two teams are going to play. Refer to rule 4.12 for further clarification.

8. PROFANITY ON THE FIELD: The use of profanity will result in automatic removal from game and/or field of play at the umpire's discretion.
