ARIZONA CARDINALS NFL FLAG FOOTBALL Presented by University of Phoenix & Catholic Healthcare West

Founded in 2008, Catch & Go Flag Football in Yuma, Arizona is a member of the NFL FLAG Program. Our program provides a fun and exciting game of non-contact flag football for boys and girls, ages 5 - 14. Kids learn the game and get to wear official NFL team flag football jerseys.

Catch & Go Flag Football is an excellent way for kids to improve their passing, catching, and running/agility skills.

The NFL FLAG program exists in all 32 NFL team markets. NFL FLAG provides kids the opportunity to become involved in football through participation early in life. This program also helps develop the first phase of player and coach development by teaching football skills at the earliest age.

REGISTRATION 

REGISTRATION FOR THE SPRING 2012 SEASON IS NOW OPEN!! THIS YEAR, REGISTRATION WILL BE ACCEPTED ONLINE, AT THE CITY OF YUMA PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT, AND DURING THE BELOW WALK-UP REGISTRATION DATES/TIMES:

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2011 @ SPORTS AUTHORITY (10AM-1PM) 

SATURDAY, JANUARY 28, 2012 @ SPORTS AUTHORITY (10AM-1PM)

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 2012 @ SPORTS AUTHORITY (10AM-1PM) 

FEES: $65 EARLY REGISTRATION (November 28, 2011 - January 29, 2012) AND $80 LATE REGISTRATION (January 30, 2012 - February 25, 2012)

CHEER REGISTRATION FEE: $65 THRU MARCH 3, 2012

**ALL NEW PLAYERS WILL NEED TO PROVIDE A COPY OF THEIR BIRTH CERTIFICATE AT REGISTRATION**

Thanks to Travis Brown and Todd McMillon for putting on another awesome camp here in Yuma!! We had 37 players take part in the camp and they all worked hard. We were very excited to be able to sponsor 13 of the 37 players. We would not be able to accomplish this without the support of our local sponsors.

Speed, agility, and strength/conditioning is the pillar of an athlete's success in sports. Without these opportunities, our local players will be many steps behind the competition once they reach the high school level. With this in mind, it is Catch & Go Flag Football's goal to provide as many opportunities to attend these events as possible. 

CATCH & GO FLAG FOOTBALL CHEER 

We are offering cheer for the Spring 2012 season!!! The Catch & Go Flag Football Cheer program is for children, ages 5-14. Each cheer squad will consist of 5-10 cheerleaders, which will be determined by the amount of sign-ups. The registration fee for cheer is $65.

We are also looking for experienced coaches for our cheer program.

PRE-SEASON TRAINING CAMP

Catch & Go Flag Football will be holding a Pre-season Trainng Camp for boys and girls, ages 9-14 on March 3, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Shaw Field (1st Street/Avenue B).

Cost for the camp is $10, and can be paid online on our website, at walk-up registration (on Feb. 25th), or on the day of the camp. We will also be accepting new league registrants (player never played in the league) during this time. New registrants can register at the camp for $65 (plus the $10 fee for the camp). *Register online here (there is a $3.25 Active.com processing fee).

The camp will include speed & agility, conditioning, and basic football fundamentals.

Speed & Agility/Conditioning - This portion of the camp will include dynamic warm-ups, ladders, hurdles, chutes, and resistance devices such as sleds and resistance cords.

Basic Football Fundamentals - This portion of the camp will concentrate on taking a snap, handing the ball off, receiving a hand-off, throwing, Quarterback drops, route running, catching the ball, and defending the pass.
