Welcome to the
11U CAROLINA MUSTANGS
2010-2011 Season
Established in August 2007, we are a Christian based organization comprised of 10 players and 3 coaches, whom along with the Mustang families, have a true passion for the game of baseball. Our mission is to not only develop great baseball players, but more importantly, guide our players into becoming respectful and considerate young men. We take pride in the reputation we've earned for our passion on the field and the respect we show for the game. Our young athletes are very excited about the 2010-2011 season and look forward to continued growth and development. Hopefully, with hard work and determination, these players can continue to improve their performance on and off the field. On behalf of the Carolina Mustangs, thank you for your time, consideration and continued support of the 11U Carolina Mustangs.

The 2011 season of the Carolina Mustangs is off to a great start! We’ve been working really hard to improve our skills both on and off the field and because of that hard work, we have the opportunity to play in two really competitive tournaments. The first is The Battle in the South which brings the best teams from the Carolinas, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Tennessee and Alabama to compete in a 5-day tournament in Knoxville, TN. And the second is the Triple Crown Summer Nationals where we will spend almost a week in a World Series type format in Myrtle Beach, S.C playing teams from all over the country. In the future, we are also hoping to experience The Road to Cooperstown, where we will spend a week in New York at the Cooperstown Dream Park.
We're writing to inform you of our Mustang Challenge. Unfortunately, travel ball is expensive, with costs such as uniforms, equipment, travel expenses, entry fees, etc. Because of these expenses, our team needs to raise approximately $5,000. This is why we’re asking for your help. The player that raises the most donations will have the opportunity to win either a baseball bat or glove of their choosing or have their family’s accommodations paid for when we play in a semi-local tournament.
Since we are a youth sports organization, your donations are tax deductible. Your support for our program is greatly appreciated and will enable us to continue to be one of the finest youth baseball programs in the state.

Congratulations to John Soloman, the winner of our 2011 gun raffle drawing. The Carolina Mustangs would like to thank all those who purchased raffle tickets; we were able to raise approximately $1400 through this fundraiser. Without community support, our team would be unable to play as often, or in such competitive tournaments. Thank you once again.
