25-27 - USSSA Back to School Blast NIT (1st place)
SEPTEMBER
1-3 - USSSA Wood Bat NIT (3rd place)
16-17 - USSSA Central NC Fall State (1st place)
23-24 - USSSA Western NC Fall State (2nd place)
OCTOBER
14-15 - USSSA Triad Challenge (2nd place)
21-22 - USSSA Southeast Regional NIT (Tournament canceled on Sunday)
NOVEMBER
4-5 - USSSA 4th Annual Quest for the Best (1st place)
The Carolina Angels have added to our family! Joining the Angels for the 2006 Fall Season are Kyle Humphrey and Zach Winkler.
Kyle brings with him his parents, Scott and Leigh Humphrey. Kyle also has a younger brother Josh who plays travel ball as well.
Zach joins the team along with his parents David and Lisa Winkler. Zach has a younger brother, Cody and younger sister, Jeanna.
HERE WE GROW AGAIN......The Carolina Angels have added another family member. Patrick Snider has joined the team. Patrick brings with him his parents David and Jennifer Snider and older sister Megan.
USSSA 8/25-27 - Back to School Blast
The Carolina Angels are in Greensboro this weekend. The Angels play Saturday at 4pm (Clemmons Cubs) and 6pm (Eden Prowlers). If you're looking to see some good baseball, come out to Carolyn Allen Park and watch the Angels play!
GAME #1 - Carolina Angels (9) vs. Clemmons Cubs (1) - WINNING PITCHER: Zach Winkler (6 KO's) - In the 3rd inning, Trent Miles and Kyle Humphrey both had triples. Patrick Snider had a hit in the 5th inning that drove in a run to end the game by the 8-run rule.
GAME #2 - Carolina Angels (10) vs. Eden Prowlers (0) - WINNING PITCHER: Patrick Snider (5 KO's) - Kyle Humphrey went 3 for 3.
GAME #3 - Carolina Angels (12) vs. Clemmons Cubs (0) - WINNING PITCHER: Brandon Gray (4 KO's - 1 hitter) - Trent Miles led the team with 3 RBI's. Kyle Humphrey and Brandon Gray went 2 for 2.
GAME #4 - Carolina Angels (7) vs. Carolina Lightning (4) - WINNING PITCHERS: Kyle Humphrey and Matt Rembielak - Garrett Motsinger led the team with 3 RBI's. Brandon Gray had a triple in the 2nd inning. Jason Smith went 3 for 3.
Sept. 2-3 Gastonia / Charlotte Wood Bat NIT
The Carolina Angels are shaking it up this weekend and participating in their first Wood Bat tournament. The Angels will be playing in Gastonia at Martha Rivers Park on Saturday at 12pm and 4pm. Also catch the Angels on the field on Sunday at 11am and 3pm. Wish us luck!
GAME #1 - Carolina Angels (11) vs. Carolina Thunder (1) - WINNING PITCHERS: Zach Winkler (4 KO's, 1 hit) and Jacob Watts (3 KO's, no hits)- Kyle Humphrey went 2 for 2 with a triple and 3 RBI's.
GAME #2 - Carolina Angels (7) vs. Carolina Redwolves (5) - WINNING PITCHERS: Brandon Gray (5 KO's) and Jason Smith - Trent Miles had a double and 2 RBI's.
GAME #3 - Carolina Angels (4) vs. SC Cardinals (2) - WINNING PITCHER: Patrick Snider (6 KO's) - Kyle Humphrey had a double and 3 RBI's.
GAME #4 - Carolina Angels (3) vs. Charlotte 49ers (11) - Pitchers: Kyle Humphrey (1 IP), Matt Rembielak (2/3 IP) and Jared Gesell (2 1/3 IP). Kyle Humphrey and Brandon Gray were 2 for 2.

9/16-9/17 USSSA Fall State
The Carolina Angels will be playing ball this weekend in Eden, NC at Freedom Park. The Angels will start off on Saturday at 12 noon when they face the GBC Acceleration. The second game of the day for the Angels will be at 4pm against the Chatam Heat. Best of luck Angels!
GAME #1 - Carolina Angels (9) vs. GBC Acceleration (8)- WINNING PITCHERS: Zach Winkler, Matt Rembielak and Kyle Humphrey - Trent Miles went 2 for 4. Patrick Snider doubled in the 6th scoring 2 runs to put the Angels ahead (2 for 4). Matt Rembielak doubled in the 8th scoring 2 runs to put the Angels ahead once again.

9/23-24 USSSA WNC Fall State
The Carolina Angels were in Gastonia this weekend competing in the USSSA Western NC State Championship. The Angels faced some great competition, and finsihed 2nd in the tournament. Congratulations Carolina Tarheels on your 1st place finish.
GAME #1 - Carolina Angels (12) vs. Carolina Tarheels (13) - Pitchers: Zach Winkler (4 IP), Matt Rembielak (1 1/3 IP), and Kyle Humphrey (2/3 IP) - Garrett Motsinger went 2-4 with 3 stolen bases, Kyle Humphrey went 3-4, and Matt Rembielak went 2-3.
GAME #2 - Carolina Angels (8) vs. On Deck Braves (0) - WINNING PITCHER: Jacob Watts (5 IP 3 KO's) - Trent Miles went 2-3 with a triple, Matt Rembielak went 2-3 with 2 doubles, and Jacob Watts went 2-3.

10/14-15 USSSA Triad Challenge
What are you doing this weekend? We're headed to Deep River Park in High Point to play some baseball! Come out and watch the Angels in action. The Angels take on the Gate City Wreckers and GBC Team Acceleration on Saturday at 1pm and 3pm. On Sunday, the Angels face the 14U Wilkes County Wildcats. The Angels are playing up this weekend 14U, although there is only one 14U team. See ya there.

USSSA Quest for the Best
The Carolina Angels will return to Myrtle Beach, SC this weekend to see if they can win Back to Back Championships at the "Quest for the Best Tournament".
GAME #1 - Carolina Angels (9) vs. Florence Braves (1) - WINNING PITCHER: Jacob Watts (5 IP 4 KO's) - Garrett Motsinger went 2-2 as did Kyle Humphrey who also had a RBI; Brandon Gray went 1-1 with 3 RBI's; Trent Miles, Patrick Snider and Dalton Lamb had 1 RBI each.
GAME #2 - Carolina Angels (10) vs. Carolina Bulls (0) - WINNING PITCHER: Brandon Gray (5 IP 7 KO's *NO HITTER!) - Kyle Humphrey went 2-2 with 2 RBI's; Matt Rembielak went 2-2 with 1 RBI; Brandon Gray was 1-2 with 2 RBI's; and Trent Miles, Jacob Watts and Garrett Motsinger had 1 RBI each.
