The Carmel Men's Volleyball will start the Winter Gym time, Dec 2nd from 6pm-9pm at Carmel High School Freshman Gym.

Carmel wins in Quarter Finals but falls in Semi-Finals of IBVCA State Tournament

Christopher Lash, Carmel, was named to the All Tournament Team
Senior Captains, Travis Fuller and Phil Morton, were named to the Senior All-Stars team.
Junior setter, Stephen VanHoorde, was named to the Junior All-Star Team.
Seniors, Phil Morton, Steven Peek and Alex Allaby were all named to the Academic All-State Team.
Saturday, May 19
Carmel wins 4th consectutive Regional Title
The Carmel Greyhounds defeated Lafayette Jeff on Friday night at the Eric Clark Activity Center in 3 games, 25-15, 25-15, 25-14.
The #4 Greyhounds advance to the preliminary round of the State Tournament at 12:30pm on Saturday, May 26, 2007 against #5 seed Hamilton Southeastern at Center Grove High School.
Sunday, March 18
Carmel Men's Volleyball finishes 3rd in a field of 17 in the Carmel Early Bird Tournament
Carmel Men's Volleyball Varsity volleyball team defeated HSE and St. Xavier (Louisville, KY) in preliminary pool play of the 5th Annual Early Bird Tournament to advance to the Gold Division championship of tournament. In the final division, Carmel lost against defending State Champs Center Grove and nearly defeated Cathedral in the final match of the championship. Carmel was without starting captain and 3 year letter winner, Travis Fuller, who was out with muscle cramping in his legs. Carmel lost to Cathedral 20-25, 23-25.
Coach Hicks said, "I am most impressed with the way that our boys stepped up and pulled together in the match against Cathedral, despite having one of our captains on the sideline". She is excited to have a full squad when we meet these two teams again later in the season.

5th Annual Carmel Early Bird Tournament - March 17, 2007
The 5th Annual Early Bird Tournament is being hosted by Carmel and has 27 teams participating from around the state of Indiana and Kentucky. Pool play starts at 8:30am on Saturday, March 17, 2007 with the Gold Division Championship starting at 11:45am in the Varsity Gym. JV tournament begins at 2:30pm.

Carmel Men's Volleyball wins 3rd consecutive Regional Title
The CHS Men's Volleyball team won their 3rd consecutive Regional Title with a win over Ft. Wayne Wayne in 3 games on May 18, 2006. The Greyhounds advance to the State Tournament at Center Grove on Saturday, May 27, 2006.

Carmel Men's Volleyball Honors Seniors
Prior to the start of the varsity volleyball game on Tuesday, May 9th, the seniors on the Carmel Men's volleyball team were honored. Seniors Will and Vanja celebrated the evening with a 3-0 victory over Wapahani.

Greyhound JV Earn Earlybird Tournament Trophy

The Carmel High School JV squad went 3-0 at the Carmel Earlybird Tournament on Saturday, March 18th. With wins over Lawrence Central, Roncalli and Southport, Carmel walked away as the JV Blue Division champs. Congratulations on the great start!

Carmel Draws Wapahani in State Finals Opener
Seventh (7th) seeded Carmel High School drew second (2nd) seeded Wapahani High School in the opening round of the Boys' Volleyball State Finals. The state finals--formatted as an eight-team single elimination tournament--will be held at Cathedral High School in Indianapolis on Saturday, May 28th.
Carmel's opening match will be played at 10:00 am. Semi-finals are scheduled for 1:30 pm and the finals are scheduled for 3:00 pm. An award ceremony will immediately follow the final.
Greyhounds Drop Five-Game Heartbreaker at State
The seventh-seeded Carmel High School Men's Volleyball team dropped a tense five-game match to second-seeded Wapahani in the quarterfinal round of the state championship. In what turned out to be the match of the day, the Greyhounds were defeated 25-10, 24-26, 25-21, 23-25, 10-15. Wapahani went on to lose to defending state champion, Cathedral High School, in the final.
Senior outside hitter Evan Suttner was named to the State Championship All-Tournament Team.
Seniors Evan Suttner and Matt Barker were named to the Senior All-Star team and Junior Brock Williams was named as an alternate to the Junior All-Star team.

May 17, 2005--Carmel High School, Carmel, IN
Hamilton Southeastern defeated Lawrence Central 3-1 in the first round.
Carmel High School then swept Hamilton Southeastern 3-0 to take the Regional title and advance to the State Championships on Saturday, May 28, 2005 at Cathedral High School.
