CLL's Bob Barnes started his umpiring carrier as a teenager in the early 1980s, volunteering for Little League Baseball as well as men’s and women’s softball. While in the U.S. Navy he also served as a Little League Umpire in Orlando- Florida, Waukegan- Illinois, &  Norfolk- Virginia between deployments. Most recently, Bob has been a Canton Little League volunteer umpire for the past 3 seasons and is a member of CLL's Board of Directors. He has attended the Northeast Region's Umpire Training School in Bristol, Connecticut and is certified as an official Little League Umpire.
