Frances Slocum State Park
The park is named for Frances Slocum, a young girl who was kidnapped by American Indians when she was five years old. After 59 years her brothers found her living on a reservation in New Reserve, Indiana. She did not return to Pennsylvania with her brothers, but stayed in contact by letter.
