First step on the Road to Williamsport and the Little League World Series
Welcome to California District 38, where everyone makes a team and everyone plays. We offer Baseball, Softball and Challenger Programs for children ages 4 to 18. No one cares more about your child than we do. If your childs dream is to play in the Little League World Series then they must play Little League Baseball. There are other programs but most end at the completion of the regular season. District 38 competed in 27 post season tournaments this year, with most of our players competing in at least one of them. The road to Williamsport is a long one that starts at the League and District level and advances to Section, Division, Region and then to Williamsport. Good Luck and have a safe, fun and rewarding season.

Travel teams, “elite” leagues, “select” players … they skewer our sports perspective
Your kid is good, right? Really good? You don’t want to brag, but he can do some things on the field that other kids his age won’t even try. You played a little ball yourself, and you know the difference…. Read entire story here

Thanks to all of you that took the time to put our players first. With Safety First in our District it is great to see this kind of turn out. This coupled with the 348 from last year and the 345 from the year before puts over 800 of our volunteers trained and ready to protect our players. You not only make it safer for our players but help keep the insurance costs down for your League and District.
A GREAT BIG THANK-YOU TO ALL
DISTRICT 38 IS 100% FOR 2013 - ALL LEAGUE SAFETY PLANS ARE APPROVED - THANKS FOR THE GREAT JOB.
District 38 has made Safety First. For the eleventh year in a row 100% of our Leagues have made a Safety Plan and they have all been approved by Willamsport. A big Thank-you to all of you that worked so hard, your efforts have earned a 20% discount on your leagues insurance and a $350 discount on the district insurance as well. Now lets not let down, make sure the plans are implemented. Remember Little League means Safety - Fun - Sportsmanship.
If your child has any friends that would like to play, please let me know and I will get some flyers to you!! Have them contact Jim @ 562/233-1196 or jkabaseball66@aol.com .
We are looking forward to another great season, and plan on attending another Angel game!

Riddell has a set of 3 Kick Away Bases with the posts and plugs for less than $100. They can deliver in 2-3 weeks. They look great to me and I think they will last longer than most of the ones I have seen. You can contact Brad @ bross@riddellsales.com or 760/703-8213
