First step on the Road to Williamsport and the Little League World Series

Welcome to California District 38, where everyone makes a team and everyone plays. We offer Baseball & Softball Programs for children ages 4  to 16 & Challenger Programs (Special Needs) for ages 4 to 21. No one cares more about your child than we do. If your childs dream is to play in the Little League World Series then they must play Little League Baseball. There are other programs but most end at the completion of the regular season. District 38 competed in 33 post season tournaments this year, with most of our players competing in at least one of them. The road to Williamsport is a long one that starts at the League and District level and advances to Section, Division, Region and then to Williamsport. Good Luck and have a safe, fun and rewarding season.

MANDATORY Team Roster From Managers Due March 31, 2019

A new District 38 Team Roster form is available on this web site. The form can be filled in online, printed to a PDF file and returned or a blank form can be printed and filled out by hand. The form can be accessed by clicking here.

It is mandatory that this form be returned to District 38 by March 31st. Failure to return the form on time will result in that team's manager being disqualified from managing a tournament team!

Please note - we've found that when using the Microsoft Edge browser the Print icon at the bottom of the form does not work. This pppppproblem doesn't exist when using other browsers. If you are using Microsoft Edge you can press the Control and P keys simultaneously to print the form.

Thanks to all of you that took the time to put our players first. With Safety First in our District it is great to see this kind of turn out. This coupled with the 454 from last year and the 356 from the year before puts over 1100 of our volunteers trained and ready to protect our players. You not only make it safer for our players but help keep the insurance costs down for your League and District.

A GREAT BIG THANK-YOU TO ALL

Where the 'elite' kids shouldn't meet

Travel teams, “elite” leagues, “select” players … they skewer our sports perspective

Your kid is good, right? Really good? You don’t want to brag, but he can do some things on the field that other kids his age won’t even try. You played a little ball yourself, and you know the difference…. Read entire story here
