Welcome to the 2012 Track & Field Season -

Sign-ups for the 2012 Track & Field season will take place on Monday January 23 in the conference room next to the gym at St. Mary's School (1158 Bont Lane Walnut Creek, CA).  The session will run from 6:30 to 8pm.

To join any CYO team in the Oakland Diocese, an athlete must meet one of three eligibility requirements:

  • Attend the parish school (St. Mary's) or
  • Attend the religious education program (at St. Mary's) or
  • Live within the St. Mary's parish boundaries (check with a Coach)

 To complete the registration process you will need to complete 3 forms and submit 2 separate checks.  You will also need the following information to complete the forms:

  • Photocopy of birth certificate (new athletes only)
  • Medical plan information
  • Doctor's phone number
  • Emergency contact information
  • T-shirt size
  • Family email address

Each athlete's family must sign up to work 4 meet job assignments.  Please bring your calendar to sign-ups so that you can safely commit to your volunteer duties. Most volunteer jobs involve working at track meets. Everyone must help out since it takes around 100 adults to run a track meet!

The cost for the 2012 season is $70 per athlete, plus $50 if you need a new uniform.  We use the same uniforms each season and they should last you several years.  Each family will also be asked to leave a $150 job deposit (using a separate check), which will only be cashed if you do not complete your 4 required work assignments.
