Castro Valley Independent Football League, a division of the Castro Valley Indpendent Sports League -- often referred to as CVI -- is dedicated to providing an opportunity for kids ages 5 through 18 to play flag football. In addition we now offer Pop Warner Football for ages 7 to *15.
Being an independent league, CVI has no residency requirements and therefore draws from Castro Valley, Dublin, Pleasanton, Hayward, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, and other nearby cities. The goal of the league is to provide a positive atmosphere that provides kids the opportunity to participate in a team sport and interact with other players. All players have an equal chance to play amongst others within their skill level and learn the game of football. Most importantly, everyone has fun.
We have six divisions in Flag Football : Senior, Intermediate, Junior A, Junior B, Junior C, and Pee Wee.
For 2012, we offer several divisions in Pop Warner tackle football.
Marshall Elementary School will host most of the Flag Football games. Tackle football will be played at a standard football field.

Tackle Football Combine: Sunday April 22nd - 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Marshall Upper Field
Lunch is included for every Player - Cost is $35.00
Registration Fee will be $325 - cost of combine will be deducted from fee at Combine
Please forward to anyone that you know of that would be interested in taking advantage of this special discounted rate or that would want to participate in the upcoming Combine. This opportunity will help these young players decide if they want to play Tackle Football.

In addition to our successful Flag Football program, CVISL is excited to announce we are partnering with Pop Warner Football to bring tackle football to Castro Valley. Please see attached handout for more information.

Flag and Tackle Football is played rain or shine. Plan on playing in the rain if it is raining. Spectators should bring an umbrella.
