2011 Coaches

Centennial VBC is committed to providing High level coaches who are passionate about the Game of Volleyball! 

 We will positively instruct players to be the best players and teammates they can be!  Our emphasis is always 'Ball Control' and we will teach the 'Whys' of the game, so that your player is a smarter player on the court!  We look forward to working with your players!!

2011 Select Coaches-

Specialty Coach-  Ashley Olson-  Ashley is currently the head volleyball coach at Anoka-Ramsey CC, where her team is nationally ranked 10th in the NJCAA poll.  She also was an Asst. Varsity coach at CHS.  Before coaching she played four years at the Division II level at Concordia University-St. Paul. She was also an ESPN Magazine Academic All-American, a 2003 NCAA Division II National Runner Up and 2005 NCAA Division II Elite Eight Appearance.

17 & 18 Select:

Lisa Dickman-  Second year coaching at CVC, former Head Varsity and Club Director for Johnson HS. Current MSHSL referee.  Prior to coaching she was a MH/RH at D1 Iowa State, and St. Cloud State. Teaches great all around skills, and players see great improvements.

Nick Stanek- Third year coaching with CVC, Nick was a former mens player at Winona State.  He currently works as an engineer. Challenges players to be their best, great hitters coach.

16 Select: 

Abby Warner:  Former North Central College player.  Played HS volleyball at Concordia Academy, and club at CVC and Cossfire. Abby specializes in the RH/Setter position.  Abby is excited to be coaching and looking to share her skills and knowledge with her players.

Megan Ericson- Three years coaching at Concordia Academy HS, and former coach at CVC. She was the Libero at North Central College and at Concordia Acadmeny HS and her specialty is Passing.

Stacy Glocke-  Coached at Centennial VBC last 10 years, previous 9th grade Centennial HS coach.  USAV Nationals in 2007. CAP I certified. Specializes in Defense and Ball control.

15 Select:

Hannah Worthington-  Third year coaching with CVC. Previous coaching experience at  Edina HS and currently coaching at Blake HS. CAP I certified.  Dedicated to the game of Volleyball she brings a passion and enthusiasm to her coaching and great fundamentals teacher.

Kelsey Kowalski-  Current Coach of the 9th grade CHS team, former CVC and Irondale HS varsity player. Specializes in defense/passing. 

Coaches-

Janaye Boser- Currently captain and player at ARCC where her team is Nationally ranked 10th in NJCAA poll. She is excited to be coaching and wants to share her love of the game.

Amanda Hammarstedt-  Over 11 years of playing experience, HS Varsity and club ball.  Currently is captain and player at ARCC.

Meggan Kinzler- Former DS player at North Central College and 4 yr HS Varsity player.  She is looking forward to challenging her players to improve their skills.

Alysha Reinhardt-  Current player at ARCC, where she is making a huge impact. Three time MCAC hitter of the week and recent NJCAA athlete of the week. Alysha was a former MH at Coon-Rapids HS and MN Select club player.

 Larry & Janette Mickelson- CAP I certified and over 6 years of CVC club and Jr High coaching experience. They are knowledgable and committed to providing a challenging, positive learning environment and will teach skills that last a lifetime. Their passion for the sport is evident in every practice.

Jackie Rehbein-Manthey-  7th season at the Centennial HS Varsity Coach. 2009 State Participant. Woodbury HS Vball player and college Scholarship Basketball player. Jackie will train some of our younger players getting them ready to make that jump from MS to the HS level.

Mike Macken-  Mike started our Youth Developmental program 3 yrs ago.  Mike brings many years of coaching experience and will teach his players and parents strong volleyball fundamentals.

Stacy Glocke- 11 under- Im very excited about working with our youngest players and teaching them and their parents the fundamentals of the game.
