About the Rapids Organization 

The Rapids Travel Fastpitch Softball Organization has grown from one team in 1993 to teams at every level from 14U to 18U for the 2012 season.  More than 50 girls in these age groups presently play in competitive tournaments in CT, and on the East coast as well as in various showcases. Rapids teams have won numerous PONY and ASA tournaments and have enjoyed success at various Local and National tournaments over the years, and have assisted 38 former players in succeeding as college level softball players.
 
Our organization takes pride in promoting teamwork, commitment, sound individual instruction, sportsmanship, and providing for the safety and building the self confidence of every player.  We also strive to maintain a balance between  winning and having a fun filled summer season, building lasting friendships and player/coach relationships. 

We are very proud of the reputation, history and accomplishments Rapids Softball has earned since its inception and look forward to another successful 2012 campaign.

Congratulations to our 2009 players: Anna Gallacher - Manhattan College,  Kelsey Newberg - Queens College Charlottesville, Anne Marie Davis - Franklin Pierce, Casey Foster - Tampa,  who will be playing at the college level!!

WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED PITCHERTO FILL OUT OUR 2013 ROSTER.

WE COMPETED IN 7 TOURNAMENTS IN 2012AND TOOK 2-2nd PLACES AND 1 - 1st PLACE.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO THE SAME SUCCESS IN 2013 AS MOST OF OUR PLAYERS ARE RETURNING
