The will to win is important, but the will to prepare is vital.  (Joe Paterno)
Champions do not become champions when they win the event, but in the hours, weeks, months and years they spend preparing for it. The victorious performance itself is merely the demonstration of their championship character. (T. Alan Armstrong)

* To teach skills of intellectual, social emotional and physical fortitude that will be necessary to perform any and all tasks in life.
* To teach life lessons (control and respect) for the development of good character.
* To instill in athletes the qualities of accountability, responsibility, empathy, self-discipline, and sacrifice necessary to reach our defined team and individual goals.
