' 17's are Headed to Las Vegas Nationals to play in Adidas Super 64
The 17's have landed in Vegas at 11:00pm. Wish the boys well as they prepare to finish up their spring and summer play. The team has started a journey together back in 2003 and they look to finish off together in 2010.
The boys wish you all could have made the trip to show your support, but we know you will be cheering loud back home and doing our clap.

' CT Knights 17u Summer Schedule: First 8 & National Inv Tourny Ma, Harley Davidson National West Virginia & Addias Super 64 Las Vegas & Pump - N - Run California

' 17u CT Knights updates:

' The 17's played on sat in the first 8 Inv tournament at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield.
' The Knights defeated Expressions to open the tournament and followed up with wins over MB Nation and advanced to the finals againts team Belgium to win Championship.
'

' 17's continued on to play Sat in the National Inv Tournament and continued to play very well and adavance to finals again with wins over Brookwood Elite Can, Lonewolf VT, BTI Pump - & - Run Calif, East Coast Elite Panthers. The Knights went a strong 7 - 1 in three days after competting all week long at Hoop Mtn Camp and played in the Elite 75 College Showcase on Fri at Boston Univ.

' The Knights completed the weekend strong and finished up Monday around 7:30pm loaded up in the cars and was off to go home and shower, pack and off to West Virginia. (We arrived in Morgantown at 2:00pm safely today 7/13/2010)

CT KNIGHTS AAU/YBOA Basketball/Mentoring & Tutoring Program
The CT Knights basketball program/school started in 2003. The program started with the idea to teach kids fundamentals, team unity, to respect each other, to build friendships, to help develop a better student athlete with Sports and with Academic supports.By Mentoring, Tutoring, offering classes for high school students for PSAT, SAT, ACT, CAPT testing, Introduce the students to college forms, entrance exams, NCAA Clearing House, College and Private school exams and financial aide forms and Special Grant programs and student loans.
(Ages 10yrs to 14yrs old)
The A.A.U program is to introduce young kids to basketball tournaments, travel, team unity, to bring young kids together from different towns, schools, ethnic backgrounds to play together for one common goal, to play basketball, compete together and to have fun.
(Ages 15yrs to 18yrs old)
The A.A.U program for the older kids is to introduce the kids to national basketball tournaments, college coaches, recruitment process, national camps and clinics. To help kids gain sports scholarships, give them exposure to D1, D2, D3 & Junior colleges.
The CT Knights basketball program/school is to teach all kids the fundamentals of basketball, How to properly play the game, to better understand the game,1on1 skills such as shooting, rebounding, dribbling, passing, defense, offense and conditioning. The basketball school will also help teach kids to play together, play smarter and to know what team really means.
