CRUSADER YOUTH FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION: Welcome

Crusader Youth Football is designed for area youth ages 7-14 (Non-High school students) and acts as a feeder football program for St Edward High School in Elgin. Our teams play in the highly competitive IYFL (Illini Youth Football League).  The IYFL provides organized youth football for teams in Northeastern Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin.  The IYFL provides both a competitive Sunday program and an instructional Saturday program.  The Crusaders field teams at the Bantam, Lightweight, Middleweight and Heavyweight division levels.

 Please help support St. Edward High School feeder teams.  The next Crusader Registration will be Sunday March 10th @ Green Wave Hall (Concession Stand) from 12-2.  Please come to take advantage of the early bird discounted prices for registration.  Rates will increase after Sunday March 10th moving forward.

We will also be ordering new jerseys for the Heavyweight team this upcoming season so if there is a certain number a player may want please register to increase the chances of the player getting their number for the 2013 season!!!

There will be 4 new teams joining the IYFL for the 2013 season.  With the loss of a few teams from the league the past couple season the IYFL has decided to expand their league and has added the following teams for the 2013 season:

Vernon Hills

Grayslake North

Crystal Lake South

Crystal Lake Central

There will be some decisions made over the next few months as to how the schedules will play out but we as a Board few this is a good thing and look forward to establishing some new rivalries for the years to come!!!

Monday 10/3- No Heavyweight or Lightweight Practice.  Middleweights will be walk through only from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm - 1 hour only

Tuesday- NO Heavyweight practice
