Great game for the COLTS.   We battled the Jets hard for 3 quarters.

Neither team was able to move the ball.  Both defenses played well.

Our defense tackled the Jets for losses on 9 occasions and with the help

of their 6 penalties, they only ganed 3 yards all day.

We got a great interception from Jack Morris.  His run back took the ball

into their territory.  We followed that up with a great cut back run by

Mitch Cooper down to the 5 yard line.  We then scored on Jordan Levine's

bootleg run.

Our next game is Saturday the 15th at 1:00.  We will have a tailgate after

the game there at the field.  See you then.

The game against the Steelers was played under difficult conditions.

The rain made for alot of fumbles and turnovers.  The defense played

really well most of the game.  The offense struggled until the 4th quarter.

Then mounted a drive down to the 20 yard line before time ran out.

It showed that we had a lot of character and heart to come back.

I was very proud of the boys.   We will be better when we play the Jets.

Colts 13  Chargers 0

Great defensive game by the Colts.  Recording their first shutout of the year.

And the offense kicked it up a notch, scoring on long Touchdown runs by

Mitch Cooper and Jordan Levine.

Our offense really showed vast improvement from last week.  And our defense

was solid for the 2nd week in a row.  Our ends and corners played well,

and we got support up the middle.

Next week we face a team that's 1-1 also, coming off a loss to the Dolphins.

They are a solid team and we will have our work cut out for us.  A good week

of practice will help this team continue to improve.

Well the Colts didn't fair too well in our 1st game of the season.

But I know we can get better.  Our defense played pretty well

considering we didn't get to hit much this week because of the  heat.

Our offense was not strong and we will work to improve this.

Our goal is to get better each week and we should succeed next week
