The indoor program was cancelled this winter, due to lack of volunteers. We will resume the indoor program in 2009 – 2010 as we now have a coordinator to take on these responsibilities.

Message from the President:
As the incoming President of the Castlegar Minor Soccer Association I am honored to have the opportunity to continue the work that has been demonstrated by our organization’s current and previous boards. I would be remiss, if I did not take a moment to thank our previous President, Kyle Burk for his efforts in the past two years. Kyle’s knowledge of and passion for the game of soccer has not gone unnoticed. I would also like to thank our previous board members for their contributions specifically Tina Reid, Treasurer and U10 Coordinator, thank you for all the hard work. It’s with great pleasure that I introduce the 2009 Executive and board members to our community as you see them on the reverse page. I want to thank these individuals in advance for the time and energy that will be put forth in order to continue providing organized soccer to the community. This diverse group of thinkers will continue to grow our organization and keep the best interests of your children in mind when it comes to soccer. Our vision for the 2009 season is to provide strong communications and to continue to develop our fields and facilities so that all of Castlegar as well as the surrounding areas can enjoy the benefit of local sport. If you are interested in contributing to your community by joining our dedicated team, we have positions available and feel diversity of opinions around the table makes for better decision-making. We offer an easy-going, supportive environment, a networking opportunity if you’re new to town, and most importantly lots of fun. Please talk to one of the executive or any of our board members if you think you can help. While some board members know a lot about soccer, most just care a lot about kids. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to talk to me or any of our board members.
Regards,
Cheryl Gnyp, President, CMSA
