3rd Annual Brian Hahn Invitational Home Run Derby & Baseball Bash
A-Rod and Yogi Battle to a "5" HR Tie after 6 rounds to Become the
2008 HR Derby Co-Champs:
Runners up included Batman and Peanut with 1 HR each. Everyone else gave it their all, and even though some were not able to get it over the fence, they all "reached" the fence. (Some would blame it on the extreme wind blowing in from centerfield!) Papa Yogi solved that issue by bouncing it over the fence!
Rita's Ice Pop Up Challenge: The winner of this new event was Munson with 6 with Lightning a close second at 5. (Mr. Peanut added 5 himself while belting 2 HR's...I guess even Met fans deserve a little recognition!)
Last, but most certainly not least, we would like to thank Mariano, the 2007 B.H. HR Derby Champ, for a surprise appearance!
Next up: Batting Practice Tuesday night 5/27 @ 7:30 @ behind Man1
The last regular season game: VS. The Rangers, Thursday night, 5/29 @ 6:30 @ Man2

Saturday, May 17
No Rain Dance for Chief Nhah, AKA Chief Nocallatimeout, as the Mighty Yankees Outslug the Braves 15 - 0!!
The Yankees had a very busy day today beginning with participating as ”Challenger Buddies” in today’s Challenger Game which pitted CLL against Mechanicville. Everyone enjoyed themselves playing hard, telling a few jokes, and making a few new friends along the way.
To all those non Yankees (CLL Family) visiting this site ….THE YANKEE COACHING STAFF HIGHLY ENCOURAGES EVERYONE TO SUPPORT OUR CHALLENGERS BY PARTICIPATING AS CHALLENGER BUDDIES ON SATURDAY MORNING! YOU WON’T REGRET IT!!!
Now on to the game…….The reality is, the weather finally cooperated and the Yankees and Braves were able to go head to head with the Braves, coming up just short in a 6 – 5 loss.
Pardon the fictitious headline above, but who could resist messing with our favorite Oriole Coach Regnarg!!!
Game ball: presented to BuntCake for his 3 -3 appearance at the plate and his continued impressive play in the field.
Game notables: (other than Chief Nocallatimeout arguing to no avail with the very steady Umpiring unit) include:
Boomers Double that barely missed going over the fence,
Shoeless Joe’s typical 3 -3 walking,
Arod and Peanut both added two singles a piece,
Scooter and Lightning added a single each,
Our outfield, which included Munson, Ra Ra, Shoeless Joe and others rebounded from the last game completing excellent relays in to the pitcher, averting many potential runs,
and Yogi was impressive behind the plate, throwing out a runner at third.

Scooter "Buttons It Up" With A Triple As The Yankees Come From Behind And Beat The Orioles!!
Game Ball: Presented to Shoeless Joe for his Team Spirit, improved play over the last several games, and his outstanding (and typical) base running!
Beef O’Brady’s Certificate (and an additional Game Ball) presented to Scooter who had a break out game this afternoon. He went 3 -3 with a single, two triples; including the Game Winning hit, and 3 RBI’s. He also had three outstanding plays at third, completing 3 put outs 6 -3 over 2 innings.
Boomer pitched his usual hard ball over two innings, throwing hard and strong; strong enough to blow A-Rods glove right off his hand! He also caught one bare handed at first averting potential stolen bases and scored runs. Thank God For Shot Put Practice!!
Hey Uncle Bob, how about that aggressive base running!!
Our #1 Fan in the Stands made a surprise appearance this afternoon! At least he was properly dressed for the occasion!
Lightning once again mystified the opposition with his remarkable Change Up, turning in 8 strike outs over 4 innings. What a “Pretty Pitch!”
A-Rod took 1 for the Team and scored a run, what else is new….’hit or be hit’, whatever it takes!
Bambino scored the winning run on Scooters triple and some outstanding base running that even Uncle Bob would be proud of! He also added a home plate single! As the Orioles stared in bewilderment at the ball spinning on Home Plate, Bambino strolled to first base on what would be the shortest distance base hit I have ever seen!
Yogi and Batman added hits of their own, and Boomer smacked a double.
Coach George was seen throwing a ball at the opponents dugout...was it accidental or was he practicing for the regular season closer? Only time will tell!
Hey, Gramma and Papa Batman, thanks for the snacks! Love them roll ups!
Peanut, get ready for those Red Sox!

Yankees vs Red Sox Part II
This has to be a brief one, been a long day and a tiring game!
The Yankees came from behind AGAIN to beat the Red Sox 9 - 8.
Game Ball: Presented to A-Rod who even though he hit a No-Rod, it was deep to right center causing a bit of a stir! He had his usual consistent good game and he played tough behind the plate
Beef O'Brady's Certificate: presented to Lightning for holding off the Red Sox late in the game with some pretty pitching.
Batman took one for the team, and also tripled in the first inning to put the Yankees back in the game. Kudos to the Red Sox Coaching Staff who emmediately came out to Home Plate to check on Batman and make sure he was OK! Now that's Class!!
Shoeless Joe made an AWEWSOME catch in DEEP left to end an inning!
Ra Ra hit a bases clearing hit on the last inning. Not sure what Uncle Bob would call it, but just we'll call it a "Walk Off Inside The Park Grand Slam Home Run". It's Girl Power All the Way!!
BuntCake looks good in his new mask and pitched a strong 3+ innings while also turning in his patented 1 - 3 put out.
Mrs. Coach could be heard cheering way down at the Baily Broidge parking lot! We love our fans!!
Everyone put forth excellent effort tonight! These Yankees are relentless! Never count them out no matter how far down they may be!
Next Game Saturday @ 3Pm @ Man2 vs the Orioles...do I hear a Rita Run? HMMM!
Monday, May 5
BuntCake "Takes One For The Team"
In an extraordinary display of team spirit Pancake (now known as: BuntCake") took a ball to the nose last night thus ending the highly anticipated (although not much liked by the players) Bunt Practice! As a mysterious red liquid spewed from BuntCake's nose, and even though in obvious pain, he could be seen smiling as big and proud as ever, knowing he had helped his team mates!
Having said that, the Coaching Staff is adament that no one try this ever again! A simple "Hey Coach can we do something else?!?" will do!!
FYI: BuntCake is doing fine and will not miss any action!
Now, BRING ON THE SOX!!!!!
Saturday, May 3
Yankee Pride Prevails as Coach Z. Inserts Foot in Mouth!
Game Ball was awarded to: Pancake for True Sportsmanship, Outstanding Crooning ability, and clutch relief pitching. He also added a Single and a Double!
Beef O’Brady’s certificate was awarded to: Boomer who went 3 for 3 today, hitting 2 Singles and a Double!
Speculation has it Coach Z may be on our #1 Fan in the Stands payroll as all three coaches kids, Munson, Yogi, and A-Rod were hit by pitches. Coach Z was overheard; well he yelled it from his dugout so it wasn’t so much “overhearing” as it was heard by all loud and clear, that it must be “Hit the Coaches Kids Day! Easy big fella, we have to play you again!
(In all seriousness, for those of us new to the Yankee Coaching Staff, we are certain it was sheer luck that our kids were hit! Coach Z is a stand up Manager and one of our good friends and although we gave him a hard time about it, we joked about it and let it go!)
Bambino fouled one off close to our Beloved First Base Coach, and even closer to the Opponents Dugout. After getting a hit and running to First Base, he explained that this might not have been accidental. Apparently Coach Z had his foot out of the dugout! Hmmm!
The Z family keeps it in the family as the younger Coach Z ran off the field into the Yankee Dug Out. For those of us not familiar with the game of Baseball, the First Base Dug Out is for the Home Team and the Third Base Dug Out is for the Away Team. Any Questions?
Other Notables: Munson set up a critical score early in the game with a steal of Second, forcing an errant throw to second, allowing Pancake to score. Scooter socred what would be the winning run. (Even though we went on to score 15 in total to their 4!) Munson also came in to relieve A-Rod at catcher after he was hit hard by a pitch! Munson, not having caught for some time in a game situation, was outstanding…just like riding a bike!!
Middle Aged Senility Strikes for the third time this season as Coach Tom sent A-Rod from First to Second, giving no thought to the fact that Shoeless Joe was still there!
Hey Ra Ra, where’s your brothers loyalty?!? I’ll have to speak to him about his pitch calling! No worries, I see many other Rita’s trips in your future!
Peanut had a 2RBI Single and a put out, Yogi added a triple, and Lightning had an awesome attempt on a put out at First, as he threw fom the “lying down” position, hey, whatever it takes!! Batman also added a single.
Most of the team re-convened at our favorite Sponsor (Sorry Holy Property Place!) Rita’s for a little Ice on the coaches. Johnny Baseball AKA “The Lone Ranger”; (HA! I crack myself up!), joined us as well, in attempt, we assume, to make amends for Coach Z’s questionable play calling! Good Sport that Johnny Baseball!!
Thanks for the Homers Ra Ra, I enjoyed my Sugar Free Cherry Ice topped with Low fat Vanilla Ice Cream!!
PS: Hey Felix, Whatcha feeding those kids!!
Next Game Wednesday, May 7th @ 6:30 Home vs the Red Sox (YUCK!) on Man 2
Practice tomorrow Sunday @ 5PM – 7PM at Man 2
Saturday, May 10
Challenger Buddies for the Day: Saturday, May 17th @ 9:30AM @ Man1
"The Challenger Division Buddy Program".
Chesterfield Little League is proud to have the largest Challenger program in District 5; a program which allows youths with mental and physical handicaps to participate in baseball. At the Challenger Jamboree last May, Sean Louks, our Challenger Division Director, (AKA Mr. Pancake) noticed that many of the other Challenger teams had “buddies” to help push player’s wheelchairs, walk or run along with players around the bases and helped out in the field. He came back to the Board with the goal of instituting this for CLL.
This is an extremely important and rewarding program and we would like to volunteer our Yankees to be ‘Buddies for the Day’ on Saturday morning, May 17, 2008. The game begins at 9:30 on Man1. Our game is not until 3PM @ Man2 on that day and I realize for some of you this may be difficult to do, however A-Rod and I will be there to help and I am willing to watch any players who show up so the parents do not have to stick around. ("Although I highly recommend that you do stay and support our Challengers!")
Let's show our Yankee Pride and be the first FULL team to volunteer!
Please let Coach Tom know if you will be able to help out so we can let the Challengers know!
PS: There's a "FREE" Snow Cone AND "Rita's Ice Coupon" in it for each player that helps out!!

Shoeless Joes "Ties 'Em Up" Against the Pirates!
Coach What's His Name was AOL tonight against the Pirates so Mr's P. L. Brinkley has been charged with the game Recap:
Shoeless Joe stole home giving the Yankees the tying run and holding the Pirates to a final score of 2-2 in their First Standings Game of the Season!
The game ball was given to Peanut for great pitching. Yogi was awarded the Beef O Brady’s certificate his great defense of home plate.
Ra Ra “took one for the team” with a nasty hit to the leg in the bottom of the 5th inning.
A Rod and Batman were able to get on base and attempt to score.
Lightning, Scooter and Munson were great at being in ready positions.
Pancake had a great throw from the knees to get a runner out at first base.
The terrific pitching trio of the Whaler, Pancake and Peanut kept the Pirates swinging and kept them off the bases.
Bambino made a great play at second. Peanut caught a fly ball in a crucial third out situation.
Next game against the Coach Z and his Mighty Rangers this Saturday 10:00 at the Clover Hill Complex.

Yankee Girl Power Part II: 12 Hours Later, Ra Ra Knocks One Out @ Clover Hill
Game Ball: Presented to Scooter for his “First Hit” and heads up base running.
Beef O’Brady’s Certificate presented to A-Rod for outstanding catching and a put out at the plate.
Notables: I’m starting to repeat myself, but you gotta like this: For the Second time in a little over 12 Hours, Ra Ra homers to deep Right Field setting the bar high for the rest of the division! You Go Girl!!
This Coaches “Middle Aged Senility” strikes again as I forgot to assign the Pitch Count to someone. Hey, a little shared responsibility here! Coach George played dumb and laid the blame on me! Now that’s team work!
Although Our #1 Fan in the Stands didn’t show (must be too far of a drive) we did have a mysterious looking woman snapping action photos during the game…HMMMM?
Hey there Yogi, whatcha got in your glove!!??! Yogi snapped up a 1U in the 5th inning expressing a sinister snarl as he strutted back to the mound!
Coach George made an outstanding catch behind home plate showing he still had the stuff that made him famous in his power lifting, Christy Brinkley dating days!
Shoeless Joe added a hit (another $5 from Shoeless Joe’s Dad!) along with a few steals. Batman added 2 doubles. Lightning was “En-Fuego” throwing strike after strike! Munson came on in relief in the last inning,
As usual everyone stayed focused and in the game. Even though we were down, we held our heads high and played like champions to the end. The Coaching staff couldn’t be prouder of these Yankees. We look forward to a fun and exciting run to the playoffs!

Girl Power Rocks Man2 as Ra Ra Goes Yard and Then Some...Hitting the Concession Stand!
It's late so I'll be short tonight...I know, that;s next to impossible, but here goes nothing......
With only 9 players, the Yankees played toe to toe with the Giants proving they are a force to be reconed with in the Majors!
Game Ball went to Munson for his first Hit of the season. He had to fight for it but he beat it out. He then stole 2nd, 3rd, and Home scoring the tying run.
Beef O'Brady's certificate went to The Bambino for an outstanding inning of Relief Catching.
Notables: Did I mention Girl Power!! Ra Ra hits a Home Run!!!!! Yes, there will be a Rita Run to celebrate after one of our next few games!!
Our "#1 Fan in the Stands" made an return appearance! I truly believe he has beocome a Yankee Lover!!!
Boomer pitched a solid tonight, striking out the side in the 5th inning. He also added a double and three awesme plays at 1st Base. The Batman had 3 awesome plays at short, Pancake took one for the team...Yea, I know, I owe you 2 balls now! Hey there Shoeless Joe and Scooter, outstanding back up in the filed...you saved a lot of runs tonight!!
Last, but most certainly not least, there's Peanut! He pitched 3 outstanding innings, confusing the Giant Big Men with his Change-Up! Yet another weapon to add to the yankee arsenal! (Thanks for the quote George!)
Next game Tomorrow morning 10AM @ Clover Hill agianst the Nationals!! Bring your A-Game and the Big Bats!!
Go Yankees!!!

Braves Raindance Successful and the Prez Dodges the Yankees a Second Time! ALL FIELDS CLOSED TODAY 4.21.2008!
Saturday, April 19
Boomer Goes Yard Twice as The Yankees Rip the Sox!!
Score doesn’t matter in this case as a lifelong dream has been realized! (OK, whatever we won handily, 8 - 4!!!!) There is no curse! There was no real shirt under the new dugout! There is only reality…our kids played their hearts out, had fun; maybe too much fun, and still were composed enough to go about the job of scoring runs and getting outs! They continue to grow and form bonds that they will take with them long after this team moves on! We began with Opening day Festivities at 9AM and were together for pretty much the next 12 hours, ending with a trip to one of our favorite sponsors, Rita’s!
Many thanks to Mrs. Coach George for putting together an Opening Day to Remember!FYI: thanks to Mamma Button for gaining us 3rd place in the Major Division Banner Contest! The banner is going to make an outstanding addition to Coach Tom’s Yankee Shrine in the New St Louis home! But don’t tell Mrs. Coach Tom! We’ll just surprise her!
The Coaching Staff offered a free round of Rita’s to the team if anyone put one over the fence tonight. In true Yankee fashion, Boomer, AKA the Big Dog, AKA the Boston Whaler, put one out in his first at bat. Not to be out done he added a second one later in the game. Hey mom, better hit the ATM on the way home!!! Boomer was tonight’s Official Game Ball recipient!
Shoeless Joe added a hit of his own to send Shoeless Joe’s dad to the ATM as well. He was also the game recipient of the Beef O’Brady’s Certificate.
12 Game Balls were then handed out to everyone on the team for “BEATING THE RED SOX!” However, living up to his reputation for middle aged senility, Coach Tom inadvertently left out the Bambino. This must have something to do with the Curse, if you believe in such things! Coach George rectified the situation by finding and handing out the missing ball!
Notables: Munson had a put out at 1st, helping to avert potential runs. Yogi and Scooter continue to play heads up in the field. Ra Ra, true to form, had a replay of last weeks amazing catch in the outfield, snagging another screamer, ending the inning! Batman, seemingly with eyes closed, did a midair pirouette, spun around, and caught a fly ball and his hat, all in one graceful motion! The Battery of Pancake and Lightning, along with A-Rod behind the plate, combined for 2 scoreless innings. Peanut had a base hit broken up by Ra Ra’s knee. She suffered a minor bruise but should be OK for the next game.
Next Game: Monday, April 21st @ 6:30PM @ Man 2 vs El Presidente’s Braves! You can’t stop the inevitable!
Thursday, April 17
Coach Z. Cowers in Denver While the Relentless Yankees Come From Behind to Tie the Rangers!
Famous Yankee Quote: The scoreboard may show the game as tied, but we're the Yankess so we'll just take this as a WIN!!..........A Quote by Ra Ra.
Game Ball: Lightning for the game ending put out and his typical outstanding pitching.
Beef O'Brady Certificate: Peanut for a strong innning of relief pitching.
Take one for the Team Balls: Boomer for taking one off the thumb (Hey Boomer, try using the bat!), and Yogi for taking a "Hiney Hit"! We were also remiss in awarding one to Pancake who was almost cut in two by a Boomer fastball!! Thanks God for vests, but to be honest, if you ate more linguini it wouldn't have hurt so bad! We owe you one!
Notables: A-Rod came out of the slump tonight with a double, he also had a strong inning of Catching, helping to hold the Rangers scoreless. Relays from the outfield continue to hold the opposing runners from scoring. One relay from Shoeless to Boomer to Yogi stopped a potential run at the plate. Coach George's Outfield Drill pays off again!!
The Third base coach is having Uncle Bob Night Sweats and has become more conservative in the running of the players. This helped to bring us from behind to tie the score.
Out #1 Fan in the Stands was a no show tonight. Watch out Coach Z., he may be in an airport near you! I hear he loves Skiing!
The players were awesome tonight! The Parents and Players should be very proud of how they have come together as a team! We look forward to even more exciting things to come!!
Upcoming Events:
Opening Day is this Saturday, April 19th. Please arrive at 8:30 to line up.
Pictures will be at 2:30, pleqase arrive at 2 - 2:15 so we are ready. Those Photographers run a tight ship and won't wait for straglers!
NEXT GAME Saturday at 5PM vs the Dreaded Boston Red SOX!! Bring your A-Game to the Official Opening Day Game!!
NOTE: Since we will all be together and miss a proper dinner on Saturday, I vote for a visit to out Team Sponsor for a treat after the game. No, not that "Properties" place or the Medical Office...I say we head to Ritas on Hull Street!! You may even want to pick up Burgers from Sonic on the way!!

Batman Returns to the Lineup and Has the Pirates Walking the Plank!
Yankees 4 Pirates 3
Before getting into the highlights of tonight’s match up between the Pirates and the Yankees, the Coaching Staff would like to send a “Bronx Cheer” out to our “#1 Fan in the Stands” for keeping the streak alive. We are undefeated in your presence! Thanks as always for your support!
Now on to the important stuff….
Game Ball was presented to Ra Ra for an awesome night at the plate, getting a monster triple and a hard hit single.
Beef O’Brady;s certificate was presented to Batman for a triple and the game ending put out. Welcome back Batman! PS: The Head Bat sure looks good in his newly acquired (in NY fashion of course) New York Yankee hat!
Notables: 3 Triples, 1 each by Boomer, Ra Ra, and Batman.
Sure was a little Chilly tonight, did anyone notice? Maybe it’s the effect the “Chill” has on the coaching staff that attracts our #1 Fan in the Stands to our games? We may never know!
Anyway, how about that Shoeless Joe!! Awesome base running including stealing home to take the lead for good. PS: Green means Go!
Pancake and Boomer teamed up for a throw out on attempt to stretch a single into a double. Careful when you round those bases Pirates! “Boomers smirk was priceless!”
Everyone played great tonight and the entire team gets an honorable mention for communicating in the field and team spirit!
Thanks to Uncle Bob for his invaluable advice and "chastising" of the coaching staff. He can always be counted on to help out with his invaluable advice! Hey Coach George, I don’t care what he says; I would have sent him too!!! Be aggressive on those bases!
Batting Practice tomorrow, Wednesday April 16th @ 6Pm @ Manchester Cage #3
Next Game: Thursday, April 17th @ 6:30PM Home against the Rangers. The “4 horsemen” will be together again! I wonder if we’ll have any special guest appearance.
Wednesday, April 9
Yankees Welcome Shoeless Joe Back to the Lineup for Their Home Opener!
It is under great duress placed upon me by my #1 fan, The Pancake Dad, that I once again put pen to paper (for you youngsters that’s how we used to write things before the internet and computers) and bring to you the first Yankee recap of the Season!
First and foremost the team welcomed back Shoeless Joe and are happy to report that Mom is on the mend and Shoeless Joe’s dad will rejoin the team shortly! Well, to be honest, we’re excited that Mom is getting better, but the Jury is still out on Dad’s return. There seems to be less controversy with Umpires and Board members when he’s away!
Special Thanks to the Button Family for the AWESOME Banner! I call dibs on it at the end of the season as a going away present for myself to add to my Yankee Shrine to be re-erected in St Louis come June!
Game Ball: Presented to Batman for a monster shot in the first inning to open the Yankee season with a Triple and an RBI!
Game Certificate (Donated by Beef O’Brady’s) for one Kids Meal presented to Ray-Ray for a diving catch of a screamer in center field!
Game Notables: Hey Yogi, was it hot under that mask! Yogi went 5 strong innings at catcher and added 2 big hits.
Boomer, Lightning, Pancake, and Peanut all pitched well tonight. A good sign of things to come! Munson, Scooter, Shoeless Joe, A-Rod, and Ray-Ray held their own in the outfield, proving that practice pays off. George’s Outfield Drill was used a number of occasions tonight, averting additional runs.
A-Rod came in to catch in the final inning and “Took One For The Team” attempting a controversial play at the plate. Our appeal fell on deaf ears, but we all know the runner was out! PS: Here’s a hint A-Rod, let someone know when you’re hurt!!!
The Coaching Staff was happy to see that no IcePaks were needed for the opposition, having donated an excessive amount of them last summer for which Coach George almost had to take out a second mortgage!!!
PS: How ‘Bout Dem Coaches Shirts! Some look better than others, but we weren’t all “Power Lifters” in previous lives and, not to worry, the warm weather will be here soon enough!!!
Last but not least: Hey Coach Tom (that would be me!), pay attention to signals from Coach George! Sometimes they actually have to do with the game at hand and not distractions outside the fence.
Next Game Saturday, April 12th @ 9AM @ Man2 vs The Orioles. (Note: The Baltimore Orioles relocated to NY in 1903 to become the NY Highlanders, who eventually went on to become the NY Yankees! Yes, it is true, the Yankees are the center of the Universe!!)
Saturday, April 12
It Ain't Over Till It's Over...and Yogi Scores the Winning Run......Yankees 6 Orioles 5
A wise Yankee once said “It Ain’t Over Till It’s Over”, and our own Yogi lived up to his namesakes famous words by scoring the winning run in a hard fought battle today. With Batman and The Bambino on the disabled list, our beloved Yankees laid low until the last inning to take a come from behind victory over the Orioles 6 - 5.
Game Ball: presented to Yogi for a triple in the first inning followed up by a double in the last inning driving in 2 runs; scoring the winning run on a steal from third; and a throw down to 2nd halting an attempt to steal. Hey Papa Yogi, thanks for the re-grip….It Worked!
Beef O Brady’s Certificate: Presented to Pancake for outstanding fielding including 2 put outs.
Take One for the Team Ball: Presented to none other than A-Rod…whatever it takes!
Other notables: Peanut had a nice put out at first along with 4 attempts to hit the coaching staff on practice throws. Hey Peanut…YOU MISSSED US!!
Boomer, Lightning, and Pancake again combined for awesome pitching and heads up play in the field. Scooter, Lightning, Pancake, Yogi and Boomer all scored runs. Ra Ra and Munson continue to play heads up in the field with perfect relays from the deep outfield, averting potential scored runs and allowing the Yankees to take the lead.
Shoeless Joe continues to be a nemesis on those bases with a steal in the second inning. Remember Shoeless, the only coaches you hear are those on the field!
A special thanks goes out to our #1 “Fan in the Stands”, we hope we put on a good show for you!!
I would be remiss without sending a special shout out the our favorite “Coach Wannabe” (you know who you are)..point well taken and communicated to the team mid game, resulting in a 5 run bottom of the 6th and a victory for the Yankees…WELCOME BACK!!
Next Game Tuesday 6:30PM @ Man2 Visitor VS the Pirates….A-Rod’s Parents have the Snack…No Water Mamma A-Rod…WE WANT SUGAR!!!

CLL Prez (and Manager of Our Opening Day Oponents, The Braves) Closes the Fields and Cancels All Games!!

You make the call, but for now we'll just take this as a win!!

URGENT: Please Support a Teammate in Need.........
A Winning Team is made up of more than just the most talented, athletic, or highest paid players. A truly successful and winning team is created and sustained through teamwork and supporting each other at all times. The Major League Yankees have a long and historic winning tradition brought about in great part by their solid Team Work and Brotherhood both on and off the field! They support each other through the good times and, more importantly, through the hard times.
One of our CLL Major Division Yankees Teammates, Shoeless Joe, and his Dad, Coach Chris now find themselves experiencing some of those hard times and need our support. Shoeless Joe's mother and younger brother were in a car accident this past week while visiting family in Tennessee. They are on the mend in a Tennessee hospital and will be there for some time. The Coaching Staff is reaching out to you, the players, along with your families to keep them in your thoughts and prayers and they recover from their injuries.
Shoeless Joe is expected to return to the team for opening day and will need our support. Let's be there for Shoeless Joe and his family in the "True Yankee Tradition"!!
Thank You for Your Kind Attention,
The CLL Major Yankees Coaching Staff
