Monday, September 22 CISL Registration Tips for Parents Parents, Please read this section to better help you through the season. New and/or interested parents may click on the Handout tab to the left to see past season parent evaluation results of the program. When registering your child, please sign them up for the grade that they should be assigned in school based on age. For example, if your child is in 3rd grade at school, but was held back a year, please sign them up for 4th grade. Divisions/age groups may be combined or separated based on registration numbers. Regarding special requests...parents/players may request to be put on another player or coaches team. However, please contact that other player or coach directly to ensure that they too have registered so we can match them up, if possible. No request is guaranteed. However, we will do the best we can...and have done fairly well in the past. Financial Aid is also available. Simply download, print, fillout and sign the player registration form. Then send it to the church office with a note requesting reduced fees, including any documentation showing Gross household income like a copy of the most recent tax return(s) or a note explaining special situation. Note: Financial Aid may not be requested online through the registration process. This is the CISL's second year of on-line registration. We are very excited to be able to offer this to our parents again. Although registration forms are available on this website, the league prefers that you register and pay for your child online. It makes the entire registration process more efficient. In addition, SPECIAL REQUESTS and placement of players on teams are not considered ready to be placed on a team until the player's information is entered into the automated active.com system. Any hard copies with attached checks, cash or financial aid simply delays the process of your son or daughter getting that last spot on a requested roster or time slot. By registering/paying online yourself, it ensures that your child(ren) are entered into the system based on the date the registration is confirmed. For those that still choose to register with a hard copy of the registration form, it is important that you include at least one e-mail address, as much of our communication from both coaches and CISL, is handled electronically. This may include gym/practice/game cancellations or schedule changes due to weather or other potential conflicts that may arise. No cleats (rubber or metal) in the gym. Games are played on a hardwood basketball court, so tennis shoes or indoor soccer shoes are fine. Thank you for your cooperation and interest in the CISL. If you have anymore questions that you cannot find the answer on this website, please call 314-968-0600 or e-mail markjdroege@att.net. We look forward to your participation to the Christian Indoor Soccer League. Sincerely,
Mark Droege |
