Decorate the Hallway
Sunday, September 27th
Players from all 4 teams are invited from 11:00 - 3:00pm.
Players should meet at Phyllis Hitchcock's Room, W604. Bring your own beverage, $5 for pizza, and decorating tools & supplies such as: scissors, glue, glitter, markers, paint & brushes. Click on the Albums link to view previous years photos of the hallway decorations and the parade.

2009 Homecoming Parade
Friday, October 3, 2009 at 4:00pm
The soccer float needs a trailor and the driver to arrive at the high school at 3:30pm, the end of school day. We also are looking for a section of green artificial turf or carpeting and a youth size goal. Players will assemble the float in the parking lot by the White Gym. All players bring 1 bag of candy to toss. Half of the players toss candy in the beginning of the parade, the other half toss candy for the second half of the parade...just so our candy lasts the entire parade! What else would you like in the parade? The Cougar?

CHS Homecoming Week Celebration - Walk The Plank
Homecoming T-shirts are $12 and can be purchased in Room W606 before or after school and at all lunches the week of Homecoming. This year's Homecoming theme is "Walk The Plank" because the football game is against the Park Center Pirates, from Brooklyn Park!

11:00am-3:00pm - School Hallway Decorating Competition - CHS Girls Soccer Team Float construction going on at the same time, in the parking lot (weather permitting). Walk The Plank theme should be considered.
Monday, September 28 - Roll-Out-Of-Bed Day at CHS
4:00pm - CHS Boys Varsity Soccer Game on Stadium Field vs. North (St. Paul) High School
7:00pm - Homecoming Royalty Coronation at the Performing Arts Center $4 Adults; $3 Students
Tuesday, September 29 - Color Day at CHS
Stock our local Food Shelf! Bring a grocery item to the Varsity Game.
4:00pm - CHS Girls Junior Varsity Soccer Game on JV Field vs. Maple Grove
5:00pm - CHS Girls Varsity Soccer Game on Stadium Field vs. Maple Grove
7:00pm - CHS Boys Varsity Soccer Game on Stadium Field vs. Maple Grove
Wednesday, September 30 - Dolly Day and Back to an Era Day (pick an era and dress up - 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, etc.) at CHS
Senior Dollies can be purchased for dress-up by underclass-members for $1 starting on Thursday, September 25, at all lunches. A list of Dollies will be posted in both the Red Building and White Building Offices at the end of the day on Tuesday, September 30. All Dollies MUST be checked-out and approved, in their special dress-up apparel, by an administrator at 7:45am in the White Cafeteria on Wednesday morning, October 1.
Thursday, October 1 - Camouflage Day at CHS
8:00-10:00pm - Homecoming Bonfire on the CHS practice softball field behind White Gym - get a wrist band when you enter
Friday, October 2 - Spirit Day at CHS
2:00pm - All-School Pepfest (in the Stadium, weather permitting)
4:00pm - Homecoming Parade*
7:00pm - Homecoming Football Game - CHS vs. Park Center
Saturday, October 3
8:00-11:00pm - Homecoming Dance (CHS White Gym)
Tickets will be on sale during all lunches. Enter the building for the dance through the White Gym entrance; students must bring their school ID. If bringing a guest from another school, you'll need to get a permission slip from the office - permission slips are available NOW at both offices. The permission slip must be signed by BOTH high school principals, so PLAN AHEAD! Dress Code will be enforced: the dance is semi-formal; nice pair of pants, dress shirt/blouse, or dresses that are not long formals; no dress shoes will be allowed in the gym - bring along a pair of flip flops, tennis shoes or socks to wear at all times! Purses, hats and shoes can be checked at a secure, free Coat Check, managed by adults.
* Student Council is looking for convertibles for the CHS Homecoming Royalty candidates to ride in on Friday October 2nd for the pepfest, parade and half-time show at the Homecoming football game. Please contact Missy Wilhelm at 763-792-5075 or mwilhelm@isd12.org

Check out the links in the left menu of this website for plans for 2009 Homecoming and examples of what the Soccer Team did in 2007 and 2008. This year's Homecoming theme is Walk The Plank, because the football game is against the Park Center Pirates of Brooklyn Park! Thanks to Allie Blakely's parents for volunteering their trailer for the Girls Soccer Team to decorate and use as a float in the parade! Players will decorate and assemble the float in the school parking lot near the White Gym immediately prior to the parade. Each player riding on the float MUST bring a big bag of candy to toss during the parade!
