CHAC was established in 1987 as a community based organization that is managed and staffed by volunteers.

The purpose of CHAC is to:
· Provide supervised sports activities for all interested youth who live in or who attend the schools in the Sullivan South High School District.
· To promote and cultivate sports fundamentals, discipline, sportsmanship, character, responsibility, and team play.
· The corporation is a "Not for Profit" organization that relies on volunteers to staff the programs.
