The Warner Robins Demonettes finished the 2009 season with a 27-8 record and a trip to the GHSA Class AAAAA volleyball tournament.  They played three tough matches against the Eagles of Alpharetta, 25-12, 25-17, 25-22.  The Demonettes earned the right to host the area's first state playoff game by virtue of their second-place finish in Area 2-AAAAA.  CGVA player and Demonettes Team Captain Alex Sansbury was selected to the all Area 2-AAAAA team.
