First CGSL Picnic at CMS a Success!

    For the first time, CGSL held their annual picnic at the Colonia Middle School fields. After many years of having this event at the Springwood Swim Club in September, the board of CGSL decided to capitalize on the enthusiasm of the rec season and move the picnic to the last weekend of the playoffs and move the location to CMS.    By all accounts, it was very successful as people from all ages were dancing, eating, and having fun all over the CMS fields. Evidence of fun was seen everywhere as the girls were playing water balloon toss, having hula hoop contests, running through the obstacle course, jumping in the moon bounce, and eating and dancing around and under the pavilion. On behalf of the CGSL board, we thank all the volunteers that helped make it a success. See you in January for registration.
